His competitors have attempted to portray Romney's ideological inconsistency over time as a character failure. It hasn't worked, mainly because Romney is a man of exemplary character — deeply loyal to his faith, his family and his country.

Thanks, I've been giving this lots of thought in the last 24 hours. My comments go to those here on FR, and other places, who want to blame the rise of people like Mitt on "the establishment".

There is no starker contrast is two candidates before the American people this election cycle than these two governors. Romney has a very mediocre RECORD. Frankly, his only real record of "accomplishment" is Romney care. On the record of life alone, Romney seems to adopt whatever position seems to be beneficial at the time.

Gov. Perry has already signed legislation defunding Planned Parenthood and legislation requiring a parent's consent for an abortion.

This illustration of SS proves that it is Gov. Perry who was telling the truth about SS and what did it get him? Ridicule.

We can make all kinds of contrasts between these two governors. Perry is a veteran. Perry has the resume but Romney has the votes.

I do not blame "the establishment", I blame those who have chosen to vote for Romney over Perry.

I caught a few Perry interviews over the past few days, they were outstanding. This morning when asked about "attacking" Romney and the effect on the Republican party, he said something about when Romney's campaign was attacking him, you didn't see any outcry from the MSM about the party being torn apart then. Clearly made his point.

He also made it clear that he is not attacking free market principals, but vetting the candidate. In addition, he said his record in TX shows exactly how he supports free markets and job creation.

Perry looked great in the interviews I saw. Oh yeah, the Romney flier on SS is pathetic. Perry was the first that clearly has pointed out the need for reform to protect future generations. Romney will say anything to get elected. We know that.

Sarah Palin was very good on Perry's behalf last night. Basically, she said that if you want to run on your business experience and job creation, being questioned about it is fair game. She is right. IMHO, you're either with us or against us! Anyone saying anything about Newt or Perry questioning Romney's record is with him.
