Turkish customs officials intercepted four trucks on Tuesday suspected of carrying military equipment from Iran to Syria, a Turkish provincial governor.
The governor of Kilis province said the trucks were confiscated at the Oncupinar border crossing into Syria after police received information about their cargo, according to Dogan news agency.

Very much so, and Turkey was supporting Assad, with provisos, then pulled the plug on it. Turkey’s been under pressure from its traditional enemy, Russia, as well as its fake ally, Iran, and has had no real support from Zero and Hitlery, basically is just dangling out there. Acting like just another rogue jihadist nation (Cyprus, in particular the offshore gas fields there) hasn’t encouraged any of its NATO brethren to back Turkey, and Erdogan may use the resulting economic downturn and failure of NATO to act — even though Turkey didn’t want NATO to act in Libya or Syria — as one pretext to leave that alliance.
