"One of the things that's hurt the so-called conservative alternative is saying negative things about Ron Paul," DeMint told conservative radio host Laura Ingraham. "I'd like to see a Republican Party that embraces a lot of the libertarian ideas." Well said, Senator. Much of the vitriol directed at Congressman Paul is mean-spirited, misguided, and downright hysterical.

I agree with you, and with Senator DeMint! There is plenty to disagree with Paul about. But we should be doing so honestly, and not embellish the truth. That is what the left does. We should not be taking things out of context or expanding on what he says, getting hysterical. Debate the differences and let it go at that. Yes we disagree, BUT, it should be honest disagreement, not hyperbole. Those are all the ways I think of at the moment to say it.

There. Fixed it. (my favorite is when some lunatic followers of "Dr. Paul" told me that Sarah Palin is a "communist". Also, everyone on the planet hates liberty and the Constitution besides "Dr. Paul", of course)
