BOSTON - A lawyer for President Barack Obama’s uncle, an illegal immigrant who is charged with drunken driving, says he will ask prosecutors to turn over the driving record of the police officer who stopped him.

Onyango Obama, the half-brother of the president’s late father, was charged with drunken driving in Framingham in August after he allegedly rolled through a stop sign and nearly caused a police cruiser to strike his SUV.

Obama’s lawyer said Wednesday that he will ask prosecutors for Officer Val Krishtal’s driving record. A court hearing is scheduled Thursday.

Why this jackass is still in the country goes beyond my mental capacity other than Obama’s nepotism. Why ask for a cop’s driving records? That is absolutely irrelevant to a DUI case involving the uncle. He broke the law, he was drinking; and it’s time to own up to the mistake instead of free-riding the half-nephew’s political status.

And despite this audacious request, he'll still be granted amnesty; just like Obama’s resource-sucking, entitlement-swindling Aunt.

If the judge allows this request, he should be fired the next day.

It’s time to throw this lowlife AND HIS “LAWYER” out of our country. Americans don’t need to put up with this kind of crap from foreign nationals.

Whoever the judge is should tell the lawyer that the cop's records are irrelevant and immediately move on to fining and sentencing the scum bag.

I hope the judge tells Odumbo’s uncle that he doesn’t have “standing”.

Cops do not get to be cops with a bad driving record.

Once a cop they seldom are given tickets.

Professional Courtesy you know.

Unless the Kenyans attorney has some proof of a bad record I would say he is fishing in a dry hole.

My question is why is this illegal still in this country.
Of course we all know the answer to that one.

"Denied. Relevance."

Relevance isn't generally the sole standard. In my experience most criminal court judges honor the civil standard on document requests which is whether the item requested is reasonably calculated to lead to the discovery of admissible evidence.

Without much thought given to the foolish appearance of this DUI defense, it comes right of the Clinton / Democrat rule book; turn an accusation 180 degrees and discredit the accuser. Maybe he should just plead insanity or racism / discrimination.

What ever happened to that illegal alien New York Times writer?

Still here illegally too?

Why are all these illegal relatives still here? They admit to being here illegally so what's the problem? It used to be that ICE’s incompetence couldn't find an illegal in a Mexican protest parade but this just raises it even higher.
