You made the statement, "McCain and Huckabee never did anything to Romney"

I disputed the validity of that statement and offered you proof of my position.

You refused to look at that evidence...and you accuse me of playing "childish" games.

LOL!

We’ve been sold into an arranged marriage, folks.
Might as well learn to lay back and enjoy it.

;^) Well thank you, KD. An insult from you is like a ringing endorsement for conservatism at FR, you're so well respected. Bwahahahaha

I’m with you. Romney wins and it will be the first time in 30 years I will not vote in the presidential election. Nope, we won’t wet the senate and may lose seats in the house but at that point it won’t matter because it means we really don’t have a country anymore anyway.

How on earth does DeMint think he’s going to have a senate to keep control if Romney is the nominee? LOL, they can’t all be that stupid can they?

“IMHO, the Republican Party hasn’t been worth a damn since President Reagan left office. :(”

not so coincidentally, it’s the last time it had someone who was unabashedly Conservative.

People will throw everyone under the bus who doesn’t support their beloved Newt.

The problem is, as you observe, the GOP.

“I like DeMint, BUT I wonder if Romney’s PAC gave him a chunk of cash like they did the governor?”

Come on, that’s crazy talk. It’s like you are saying that money influences politics. How can that be?

Epic Fail Jim Demint...I find it amazing that I keep getting calls from the GOP asking for money. I always put em on hold in my kitchen drawer and try to get back to them 20 or 30 minutes after I’m finished with what I’m doing but they always hang up. Weird....

I cheered DeMint when he went to Honduras in support of a long time ally, but if he was in fact bought by the likes of Romney I am very sad.

In the past I knew a few POLs who could not be bought. They are rare, but still exist. That rare breed is what we need today to right the ship of state.

Will those individual come forward once we dispense with Obozo? Tis to be seen.

The Post-Gazette is on the FR “excerpt and link” list. Roccus did it properly. Would you prefer to have another lawsuit filed against FR?

DeMint is living proof of the need for TERM LIMITS! After two terms they always seem to go down the route of the RINO.

From a predictive stance, he’s probably right. Gingrich, Santorum, and to a lesser extent, Perry, will split enough votes for Romney to win, or at least come very close.

At least one of those three should drop out after SC, and another by the time FL is over. By that point, it should be clear who actually has a chance of running a winning campaign, and they need to unite or let Romney’s strategy of victory via fragmentation to succeed.

He can’t let Governor Haley and “Lovable Lindsey” get out in front of him.

Yep, so all their good work over the next forty years can be thrown out by the marxist, activist Obama Supreme Court --- you know, the one that will see Sotomayor as CJ from 2025 - 2050.

Bingo. Your insight may be too hard to grasp for some of the stupid single issue conservatives out here.

Everyone “Fall in line” now! DeMint warming up....again. Party people telling Newt to back off or else lose standing in party. The fix is in. Romney will be nominee nobody else really had a chance. What do real conservatives do???
I don't know. But here is what I am not going to do: Support, or vote for, Romney, ever.

Yanking defeat from the jaws of victory: Just like when principled Republicans went with Perot and gave Clinton the presidency.
Yes, and maybe the party will learn its lesson this time. Only I'm not a "principled Republican," whatever that means. I'm a movement conservative. The Republicans can go to hell if their intention is to foist a Willard "I like mandates" Romney on the country, because that's where we're headed anyway.
