Kathy, Southern New England has been blessed with great weather all winter, daytime temps often getting into the 50ºs with few 30s no snow, zero, zippo.
The least snow we got was 10” in 1936 so we must be due to a low snow season.
It’s a huge difference from last year when winter lasted 6 months with a blizzard every Wednesday.
I heard parts of AK have been buried in snow but don’t know where in that big state it is. Are you ahead of it where you are?
**HUGS!!**
Here is a link to the hardest hit lately...and more snow is on the way tonight and tomorrow. Several boats, including a house boat, capsized today. The National Guard was called in yesterday to help folks dig out. Roofs are starting to collapse and Cordova is only accessible via boat or plane. The troops came by boat. Valdez is where some of the pics are from.

I’ll go find a map. We are getting another HIGH wind and warm temperatures storm. The high winds have started and the temp is up to 21 and rising. Wind gusts today clocked at 90+ on the hillside (lots of high class homes up there).
