This is sad, and I have to say that I fear the worst for the poor kid.

Leaving his stuff behind means that he wasn't planning on running away.
No history of drug use means he didn't hook up with some "crack ho" at a bar somewhere and currently holed up in a basement in Queens somewhere stoned out of his senses, not knowing what day it is. (Likewise, after two weeks, he should have had a lucid moment to realize where he was.)

I'm hoping he turns up in a hospital somewhere, but the police should be able to find him.

Sad to say that he likely had a bad encounter along one of those walks. There's a lot of greenery around there to get lost in, so he might be found right away. I hope he didn't wind up in either river.

Hiya Tanniker. Hope all is well with you.

I was afraid when I read that he went to Central Park. I’m concerned why he would go for a walk (by himself?) to an unfamiliar place without his phone. I watch Disappeared on ID television and amazed at how many people disappear without a trace.

I feel for his parent, they need prayer too.
