Obama's been telling us that people should not be judged by what they look like.. after three years of his administration and as a white American Scot-Irish I want to know that I won't be judged for what I don't look like.

It seems rather sad to me, but then I do not have a dog in the hunt, being from Canada. A really genuine smile can do a lot for a woman and it seemed that the First Lady had found much to be thankful for. Her country virtually gave her one of the highest honours. Nowhere was she abused in a really hateful way from an early age. She has not counted her blessings, but it is a pity- she CAN smile if she wants.

If a Republican First Lady, being white, made such a remark about a cabal of Black politicians, one could imagine the MSM. All fiery hell would have been let loose. The eager Andersons and Joys of this world, coupled with the usual suspects would have screamed blue murder.

They are in the bag, if they do not at least make something of this. Express regret at least.

My, does that sound condescending... I never heard of them categorized that way. Can we come up with something equally insulting to call black women without a college degree and see how well that works?
