Interesting. So Newt’s collapse is a result of the establishment RINOs wanting to back a winner, and throwing to Mitt.

That’s what I thought. I figured Newt was drawing more from the establishment folks than from conservatives.

You’re predictions were pretty good. What happens if Newt loses his 20 percent of conservatives and they throw to Santorum?

Occupy Portland (Maine) protesters headed to NH the day after Iowa. I suspect they registered and participated in the GOP NH primary and probably many from Massachusetts.

29% of voters in 2008’s election cycle were independents. You can’t win national elections without them. That’s why.

Paul now up in Coos only. Romney everywhere else. 8 percent in Coos, Paul is up by 9 here.

Santorum up in Strafford + Merrimack, Gingrich up in Hillsborough and Rockingham. As we saw earlier, the more conservative the area, the better Santorum does vs Gingrich.

Paul and Romney up top. Screw the republican party. It’s time for a Conservative Party.

Thats right.

A) We want a genuine conservative to take first (aint gonna happen in that state);

B) We want a geniune conservative to take a strong second (probably might not happen, we will see;

C) We want Huntsmann then to at least come in and shave Romney's lead down a lot, by cancelling out RINO votes against RINO votes.

I see your point. Either way, we need a politically weak and wounded Romney going into South Carolina and Florida.

Watch slick n' slippery Romney talk REAL "right wing" from tonight once he leaves NH and heads south for Dixie. It will all be such a show, what is sad is the droves of voters who might buy it.

Romney 36
Paul 25

Fifty-six percent of the vote going to the two candidates who are certain to utterly destroy the GOP as a viable national conservative party.

Amazing.

It's not every day you get to watch the suicide of a great national political party.

Yep, looking like Huntsman’s work here paid off. Perry should drop out.

Odd that, Huntsman’s going to get more delegates than Perry.

Gingrich with 4th here and 4/5th, depending on how the votes play out now needs to win in SC or he’s out.

When I moved up here, I used to hear Mitt Romney on TV, and he sounded great. If you have lived in a really truly one-party Demonrat state, then what he said sounded sweet. All the remaining Pubbie candidates have serious flaws: Newt with his fraternization with Pelosi over AGW, Perry with his Latino-pandering, and Santorum with his union-pandering. Suppose Perry had to run in MA or PA—would he really be different? Until we get back to Constitutional limited govt., politicians are going to have to play the game.
