Some are dumping on Newt because his stance in the Bain Capital controversy puts him on the Socialism/Marxism side.

Companies like Bain serve a function, but generally it is negative. Not destructiveness is a necessary part of a capitalist system. I compare them with eagles, who eat carrion and cull the weak of a species.

Or is he exposing the worst of Wall Street and crony capitalism? Newt is my 80/20 guy. 80% I agree with is fine with me. No one else even comes close.

Also, I've been thinking, who do you want to take the 3 am call? . . Think about it. . I did and came up with Newt. He would immediately weigh all the options, talk with real adults, talk with his cabinet and not make a purely 'political' decision. He might just make the decision that's best for the country. .

Speaking of cabinet, can you imagine Newt's picks? They would be All-Stars. Bolton, Palin, Trump, Cain, DeMint, Daniels, Rubio, Christie, Ryan, Walker and Cantor. At last, real Americans back at the helm. Don't blow this America! I want America revived, restored and put on Go again!

“Some are dumping on Newt because his stance in the Bain Capital controversy puts him on the Socialism/Marxism side.”

Not really on the marxist side. Romney has been running around bragging that because of his private sector experience he understands better than anyone how to create jobs. It appears he didn't have a great record as governor in that area and several newspapers have questioned the number of jobs he created and some of the decisions he made.

It is absolutely appropriate to ask Mitt to document his record and explain any questionable decisions that might come up in the general election. The media is not going to vett him much till he is the nominee. GOP establishment won't let the primary voters know any glitches they might know of.

So it is up to the candidates to vett each other. Asking Romney to explain his record about what has been called controversial management decisions is absolutely fair game. This is about questioning Romney and not at all about attacking capitalism.

The hysterical reaction by LSM and their framing the issue as an attack on capitalism and talking about bad mad Newt is just another Alynski tactic to protect their preferred candidate. I personally think that Romney is less electable than any one else. His selection as the nominee probably means four more years of Obama.
