Mere hours following the antagonistic ABC interrogations, David Gregory gets his turn, hoping for verbal pyrotechnics Sunday morning.

Huntsmand deserves to get a few votes in NH and to do good there. I think it will be Romney, Newt, Huntsman with Santorum and Paul behind. Perry will do poorly.
No way Romney garners in the 30%. I can’t believe NH will be that naive or sucked in with this guy. I think they will reject Santorum.
The strategy MUST be to get it down to Newt and Romney, one on one going into Super Tuesday. Then in debates, if Romney has the courage to debate the man, you will see the contrasts.
If Romney still wins, then you then support the man, but I think the Americans of all back grounds will identify with Newt.
Debate Transcript here:
Ann has come to believe 1/2 a glass of poison is good to drink cause you will lose the use of one eye and a left leg but...it won’t kill ya.
Her cheerleadin for Cheeseburger Christie was the tell tale goin in. Christie is a loud barker but a solid 4.5 on the conservative meter. Ann knows that too.
Romney has more holes to make noise than a flute and Ann knows that too.
Truth is, a monkey with a note in his mouth could beat Obama
proof ? We elected one.
I think you are right about Santorum, and I don’t think his marriage views are playing well in socialist New England. If he fades to fifth, which I think he will, it will be all about who comes forward. Earlier this week, only Huntsman has been advancing, but we know Newt does well in debates and it is possible he could get a 3-5 point bounce.
Can you point me to the part where Mitt was caught in a lie?
Good for you, Ohio.
The midnless hate that seems to have developed on this site for a very good man is one of my pet peeves.
McCain, the Dem Congress, the American Idol candidate, the megabucks for Obama, white guilt, the slobbering media, 8 years of lies about the war and the economy....
That, and more.
Blaming President Bush for Obama is just dumb. And doing it on this thread, this far after the election, with what we're dealing with in Obama - the ANTI-Bush - is a sign of something seriously wrong in the person doing it.
Rick Perry did tweet to his followers a suggestion that they go to church instead of watching the debate.
So I did that.
You are SO right about this, varina.
But methinks the people who have a visceral hatred of George W. Bush don't understand Purpose, with a capital P, and God's sovereignty, and a whole slew of other things.
I don't think, in the end, disagreeing with spending is going to make or break the presidency of George W. Bush. It's going to be exactly what you said. The right person and the right time doing the right thing to protect America from a vile enemy. He got it right.
It might as well be me who defends that very, very good man. I've got broad shoulders. :)
I love Perry.
He suggested we choose church instead of this debate.
Can’t understand why Perry is not at 40%.
He has all the virtues of Santorum and Gingrich but none of the negatives.
His experience as leader of a huge state is a testament to his commitment to social and fiscal principles.
And he’s good looking and has stayed married to his childhood sweetheart, if anybody cares about stuff like that.
And he’ll shoot a varmit if it gets too close.
green eyes: Ron is always my hero!
Santorum shot himself in the foot with his social security reform plan.
The cane and walker crowd will not be limping to the polls to vote for him, but they will get there and they will vote.
Romney got a critical endorsement today, the Attorney General out of Florida, who is on the front lines in abolishing Obamacare. This will hurt.
Bush is a good man, and I agree that he was a Godsend when the 911 attacks occurred. I thank God that he was in office and I think the fact that he was, was divine intervention.
However, I do think there is one thing we can learn from his presidency - and that is that we need to elect a leader that will fearlessly fight back when the leftist machine relently attacks him. Many times I yelled at my television to Bush - fight back! don’t let them get away with these attacks!
The Attorney General who started the action against Obama care is not supporting Romney - It must be his replacement.
Gosh, a lot of jealousy showing up about Perry from some of the paunchy bald dudes around here.
We don’t love Perry because he’s good looking, but it doesn’t hurt.
I have never seen the level of hate directed toward anyone as some have for Perry.
I don’t know why. They hate Perry even more than they hate Romney, or ron Paul. Well, Ron Paul definitely won’t get the looks crowd, will he?
There is no downside to Perry, but somehow early propaganda against him has taken hold with some ugly haters around here.
Ugh.
