Defenders of the program say it does no such thing

I can't imagine who the defenders are.

Chicano perspectives on literature, history and social justice.

If you are teaching social justice you are teaching class hatred by definition.

The LibTurds just hate that this Reconquesta class that violates state law is getting its money pulled from the TUSD budget.

If the individual states were responsible for their schools and the fed had nothing to do with them-no funds, hands off, period-this crap would never get past a small dust storm in each community, and these frivolous courses would never be dreamed up.

The LASlimes conveniently leaves out the details of the content of the “ethnic study” that has so many people worked up over it.

Here are some of those details:

In the murky political atmosphere that we are forced to live in, these tiny manifestation of light are encouraging. It is harder than they believe to stamp out the greatest culture the world has ever known, some wishing to return to their legacy of cannibalism and human sacrifice.

Once upon a time, the dream was "America" and "American."

Devolution can never be a rational goal.

Arizona 'belongs to' Mexicans, like my neighbors house 'belongs to' me.
That land was 'given to' Mexico by the Kings of Spain through land grants. In effect it was STOLEN by Executive Order. And it was STOLEN from peoples like the Apache, Navajo and Hopi. Plus other Native American tribes. Also known as INDIANS.

Additionally, last time I checked it wasn't Mexico or Mexicans who tamed, as in fought the Apaches and others, then settled that land by building Railroads and Towns and made it SAFE for people to live in. All that was done by those 'evil' white people devils with 'no culture'. Also known as AMERICANS!

I've had it about up to 'here' with these Mexican leaches who are 'occupying' OUR land.
