Surely, Ron Paul or Newt will use it against “Mr. Conservative” and I know how to create jobs, Romney.

So perhaps this is why the MSM is pushing for Romney.

This is reminiscent of “A conservative is a liberal who has been mugged.”
No, I’m not a liberal.
However, people will be people and I’m very concerned that, somehow, the upcoming elections will go in a direction that will be very deleterious to all of us.
I’ve been asking around for strategies w/o being too obvious since I don’t want to telegraph our punches. I haven’t seen any way to present a united front to the Marxists. Am convinced that we are in the majority. If we’re fragmented, not so much.
We need to get it together, and soon.

New term, “predatory Capitalist”. I guess “crony Capitalist” is so 2011.

Too bad Romney, who I would still vote for over Obama BTW, doesn't have the spine to call Obama a Socialist.

Then again, I look at Obama as a “predatory Communist”.

So under Obama, the country has lost something like 5 or 6 million jobs and real incomes have dropped for those people with jobs. The economic misery inflicted by O’s failed policies is wide and deep. But the MSM won’t report heart-tugging stories of people suffering under O’s policies. But of course layoffs at the behest of Bain are to be highlighted and used to create a template against Romney. Not defending Romney in any way, just absolutely disgusted that the media won’t report how much real pain O’s policies have caused.

Of course.
Romney will be portrayed as Gordon Gekko, Gingrich as "Chuckie's Grandpa," Perry as Dan Quayle II, and Santorum as a religious nut, as well as the person who will overturn Roe v. Wade.

The Obamamedia will never miss a chance to tear down any of the primary candidates, but will reserve the bulk of their fire until after the convention. Then they'll unleash the dogs on the GOP nominee, whoever it is, as they know the attention span of most Americans is very, very short. So yes, they are holding back the best stuff for later use.

Anyone who doesn't already know this, and isn't prepared for it, doesn't follow politics with a close enough eye.

Now I would like to hear from one of the 100,000 jobs that was created by Staples corporation after it was acquired by Bain.

I expect the candidates to mix it up and testing them with a little dirt and controversy is part of the test.

This is the same crap they pulled on Carly Fiorina in CA when she ran for Senate. It worked brilliantly considering she lost against our dumb as a rock Senator Barbara Boxer.

Former HP Employees whining about being laid off when HP would have gone Bankrupt without the staff reductions.

That's just the way it is. You won't see any ads showing Obama and Jon Corzine who made millions on the backs of the investors he screwed while walking away with $100 Million.

"(He has also supported Claire McCaskill for Senate.)

This tells me everything I need to know about this guy. What a tool.

We should pass a law that there should not be any layoffs anytime, that way companies can completely crash and burn so everybody loses their job from the janitor to the CEO. This thinking reminds me of the old Russian parable. Boris and Ivan are peasants and Ivan has a cow, while Boris does not. A Genie comes to Boris and grants him one wish. Boris wishes for Ivan’s cow to die. Our doom is not in any policy choices made by our politicians but in the spreading peasant attitudes of the masses.

There is a downside to leveraged buyout firms like Bain and others.

It values the highest use of the dollar in the short-term over the highest value of the dollar in the long-term. I’ve witnessed it first hand.

It will be a legitimate discussion about RINOmney’s history and source of wealth.

Another hit-job slam article VERY SHORT ON FACTS...

GS was an AGING, money-losing Steel Mill facing imminent closure because they couldn’t pay for the upgrades required under the Clean Air Act. And they were just like dozens of other small steel mills in America.

Romney& Co. bought it, paid for upgrading it, then SOLD IT. The pensions were lost in the LATER 2001 BANKRUPTCY, the mill went out of business when it filed Chapter 11 again in 2007, YEARS AFTER BAIN SOLD IT!

These people bought ALREADY TROUBLED COMPANIES, and tried to fix them.

This is a two-fer for the socialist establishment. They get folks riled up against Romney and get conservatives defending Romney.

Win-win, for them.

My question is why NO ONE has asked Romnuts about BAIN Capitals donation to the Foundation Cordray ran and donated ONLY to DEMOCRATS?

But hey it was only $5000.

My opinion: the layoffs from Romney are NOTHING compared to the lost jobs under Hussein.

Romney isn’t the most popular guy here on FR, and he isn’t the embraced by our household...but he sure as HELL isn’t the same as Hussein.

Hussein is worse than Romney by quantum leaps. Right now I am concentrated on firing Hussein in November, and I don’t care which of our Republican candidates takes the office.

I know that isn’t a popular position here; but it is my honest opinion.

I think four more years of Hussein—who has already shown he will defy federal courts and Congress—will be worse for this nation than four years of PAUL/HUNTSMAN/NEWT/PERRY/SANTORUM/ROMNEY.

My theory, which I feel obliged to repeat again, is that Hussein HATES America. He wants to bring the nation DOWN. But NONE of the Republicans hate America—even if they are wrong about certain issues, they at least care about the well being of this country. That fact alone makes it important that they defeat Hussein in November.

"At its peak in 1970, the Kansas City plant, then owned by Armco Steel Corp, employed 4,500 people. Poor market conditions forced a wave of layoffs in the early 1980s and led the company to prune its product line. By the early 1990s, the plant focused on two items: wire for products such as mattress springs and tires; and high-carbon balls and rods used by the mining industry to pulverize rocks."

ARMCO's fault.
