-Charles Barkley calls his Weight Watchers deal 'a scam' in open mic slip
-Barkley, colleagues didn't know they were live
-Also rip Atlanta Hawks; broadcaster grouses 'This game is terrible'
Charles Barkley would probably be the first to admit that there are two things which are always dangerous to put in front of him: a live microphone and a plate of greasy food.
And Thursday night they combined forces to create a fantastic moment of brutally awkward commentary.
According to Deadspin, while the game he was broadcasting was in a commercial break on TNT but still live on NBA.tv, Charles told his TNT colleagues that his new gig as a Weight Watchers spokesman "is a bigger scam" than being paid to watch sports.
Said Sir Charles: "I ain't never missed a weigh-in. Never going to. I'm feeling much better. But I ain't giving away no money. I'm not giving away no free money. I thought this was the greatest scam going, getting paid for watching sports. This Weight Watchers thing is a bigger scam."
His comment drew laughs from broadcasters Reggie Miller and Kevin Harlan who all continued talking for more than a minute before realizing they were live.

Charles Barkley was arrested for DUI in Arizona early this morning after telling cops he ran a stop sign because he was in a hurry to get some oral sex.
The officer who wrote the report said:
He told me that he ran the stop sign because he was in a hurry to pick up the girl I saw get in the passenger seat.
He asked me to admit that she was hot. He asked me, You want the truth? When I told him I did he said, I was gonna drive around the corner and get a b**w job. He then explained that she had given him a blow job one week earlier and said it was the best one he had ever had in his life. The report says when Barkley was taken to the station, he told one of the employees:
Ill tattoo my name on your ass if he helped get him out of the DUI. According to the report, He laughed and then quickly corrected himself and said, Ill tattoo your name on my ass and then laughed again. The report also says officers found a handgun in the vehicle which was immediately impounded. The report doesnt say if the handgun was legal or not, and the only thing that we know for sure was loaded.

I just saw his weight watchers ad today. LOL
This guy is a cultural slob.
20-odd years ago, my father lost a lot of weight on Weight Watchers.
Not only that, he posed for one of their ads on the back of the TV guide supplement in the Orange County Register.
It was all pretty amusing.
From his comment, I got the impression that he meant that he was scamming weight watchers by being a spokesman for them.
I hate it when jerks get things cushy. LOL
He’s right, Weight Watchers is a scam. All those diet programs are a scam.
All most people have to do to reach their proper weight is eat less, eat healthier and get at least 1 hour of real uninterrupted exercise per day. That’s it. There is no magic bullet. Just eat less, eat healthier, exercise more.
you don’t need any weight loss program ,just stop eating BREAD and save some bread
Interesting how fast the NBA had the video taken down claiming copyright violations.
obnoxious repulsive slob.
HAHA you made me think of an Old skit on “MadTV”(a sort of SNL skit show) Pretty much the same thing you said.....

LOL, that was pretty hilarious. Eat less, move more. Thing is, it’s basically true.
Isn't he saying his getting paid to watch sports is like getting paid to do nothing, ie "free money"? He means HE's doing the scammimg. he's not saying sports is a scam. By the same token, he's saying that Weight Watchers is paying him to go to weigh-ins, that's all. Ergo, he's got a better scam going. He's the scammer not WW
I figured the Good Lord put Barkley on this Earth for the White Man's amusement.
Barkley is the canary in the cold mind!
