discostu is simply against Newt Gingrich. Leave it at that. Never mind that Newt Gingrich is a Catholic convert and all sins of the past have been confessed and forgiven by our heavenly Father. discostu’s opinion reigns supreme.

Ted Kennedy was a Catholic too, should I vote for him? Good for Newt that he’s all forgiven by God, I’m trying to figure out who’s going to be a half way decent president. And I just plain don’t trust people with a history of breaking oaths. And when it comes to MY vote and who I’M voting for my opinion better reign supreme, much as I would expect your opinion to reign supreme for your vote.

“Newt Gingrich is a Catholic convert...”

Yeah; today. He’s been a member of other denominations before, and “converted” to please Geriatric Barbie, i.e., Calista. What’ll he be in five years?

Newt’s the smartest, but Santorum is more trustworthy (in my mind).
