Earlier, a poster offered good insight “Who would you want fighting alongside you” or words to that effect.

I propose we all list our choices to the following issues

Constitutional issues (obamacare/czaes and the like
Immigration
Economic issues
War/Defense/Islamic issues
Special “Rights” issues.

For me its...
Gingrich across the board and that surprises me.

If I had to choose which presidential candidate I'd rather have fighting alongside me, it would be Newt without question. Of them all, he's got the most fight and dogged tenacity in him. I'd also expect him to be the one to make a bold move against the enemy when we were under fire.

Romney's out, because he'd just run away or make a secret deal with the enemy.

Paul's out, because he'd probably steal my guns and give them to the enemy.

Rick Santorum would be welcome in my fox hole, because I know he'd fight with real heart, and wouldn't betray me.

Rick Perry would be a good squad mate because, even though he can't express his reasons for being there, at least he'd shoot the bastards when he saw the whites of their eyes.
