Can someone tell me why Glenn Beck has such digust for Newt Gingrich, without mentionning his conservative credentials on Israel and Balanced budgets? Glenn said on GBTV last night that he leaves political expertise to Rush Limbaugh. However, he does not mention that Rush is usually positive on Newt's conservative background. The vitrol toward Newt Gingrich from Glenn and his GBTV panelists seems to be unreasonable and coordinated. Any explanations would be appreciated.
um... because Glen is part of the Mormon Mafia that is pushing Romney.
Here is a better article on the White Horse prophecy, Wiki is being scrubbed by the LDS to make it look like they didn’t teach it when the sources are very clear.
I can also provide several pages of quotes from LDS leaders supporting the WH prophecy.

[ Except Beck is a Santorum supporter. ]
And he supported Bachman before she got out of the race.
A lot of posters here never let the facts get in the way of an opportunity for Mormon bashing based on “guilt by association” when it comes to making an “association” of Beck to Romney. Heck, Ann Coulter a Non-Mormon has supported Romney 1000% more than Beck EVER has.
I dislike Romney as much as other people, but I don’t dislike him because he is a Mormon, I dislike him because he is a squishy RINO.
Glenn Beck is a Libertarian. He is not a republican
I listen to Beck, Levin, Limbaugh and Fox News. When Beck said if the tea party votes for Newt it must be racism, I was shocked. Then today he came out and said he does not like Newt and there is something nefarious about him (meaning extremely wicked or villainous) (GIVE ME A BREAK!) He also said he would vote for Ron Paul over Newt because we are going into a severe depression and need small govt..Uh..ok. Someone who blames America for 9-11 and thinks Iran should have nukes? (not to mention the kooks behind Ron Paul) His judgment is definitely skewed and he is over the top with his accusations. I defer to Levin and Limbaugh.
IIRC, it was Becks now WIFE, not daughter that got him to join the LDS church.
lol
you are easily deceived.
Beck is backing the weakest candidate now that has zero chance so that he can say later when he switches his support to Romney, that he isn’t supporting him only because he is a Mormon and will then point out his previous support for Santorum as proof.
I see through that nut like glass.
I cancelled my subscription to GBTV yesterday morning. I was already tired of the horrendous customer service issues-—having to hold on the phone for hours (literally) over and over, having my account cancelled for no reason with and having it take days for someone to discover that simple fact, and getting robotic email replies from customer service which told me to get broadband high speed, which I have.
But the last straw happened when I got an email from Glenn’s sidekick, Pat Gray, defending Mitt Romney. About a month ago, they were tearing up Newt on the radio and saying that he’s worse than Romney. Though Newt is not my candidate, I emailed them, and forgot about it. Yesterday I happened across a response from Pat. It said, “The key to your problems with Romney is that they are in the past. There is such a thing as redemption. Believe in it? Gingrich’s ideology is current. Romney IS better.”
I don’t need to be supporting that kind of stupidity with my money. I cancelled GBTV right away. And this is coming from someone who really liked Beck and enjoyed his Fox show. He’s gone off the rails.
I think Mormons are cult members, but...
every God fearing person puts God first.
Actually it was just an assumption. I have quite a few mormon relatives and something being mormon trumps pretty much all other considerations when choosing a favorite.
My anecdotal experience may have led me to a wrong conclusion here. Not following Beck, I have not ever heard hem say who he supports, It was merely an experience based assumption.
Do you understand what he was saying about the racism/Newt deal?
And why Ron Paul over Newt? By the way, he thinks Paul is crazy with his foreign policy.
—Seriously - Beck doesnt like Romney - how can you not know that?—
Because I don’t follow Beck. And I explain a bit further in my post just before this one.
IMO, Beck is a professional malcontent - similar to Mike Savage, though slightly less acidic and much more juvenile in his on-air radio humor.
Beck thinks Santorum is a “big-government” conservative. Definitely conservative, but also definitely big-government.
He thought Bachmann was great, but that’s going nowhere.
He thinks Paul is in bed with Soros.
He thinks Newt is a progressive, which doesn’t fall in line with his tin-foil hat mentality.
I haven’t heard him mention Romney or Huntsman, but can’t imagine him supporting them.
He probably views himself as a modern Jeremiah, railing and railing, but not coming up with any solutions that will get Obama out of the WH.
Show me a candidate - or any politician - who hasn't worked with the other side. Please.
God, Family, Country. In that order, if you have your priorities right.
—I am not the biggest Beck fan, but I listen to his program on the radio regularly.—
Yeah. My bad. I have no TV and I don’t listen to Beck. It was an assumption based on what I’ve seen from my many Mormon relatives and, apparently, a wrong assumption.
Sorry.
Problem with Newt is he is all over the map. e.g. Pelosi and GW. If elected, who you really gonna get?
I could agree w/him on some stuff, i.e. Patriotism, Founding Fathers, faith in Constitution, etc. but he got a bit off the track too often and when he went in the tank for Huntsman, I tuned out.
I did hear Beck say one day on his radio show that he is listening for any Mormon bashing (talking about Romney)....
