Who cares about Israel when we ARE $17 TRILLION AND COUNTING IN DEBT, if you can’t understand why that makes us a bad judge of foreign countries or conflicts then maybe you would like to give me your wallet and your life savings cause you clearly can be easily seperated from it and don’t mind bailing out foreign banks as well as running foreign country police programs and foreign war on poverty programs with other people’s money and you don’t mind unemployment, cause the further we go into debt the more likely all of us wil lbe doing more than looking for jobs but looking for exits, and killing more terrorists will not erase the climbing debt.

. . . he thinks the 1993 world trade center bombing was done by the Mossad . . .

He does? Where did you get that information? I recall a point where he tossed out any number of reasons for that bombing, among those raising the question whether Mossad might have been involved, but his general conclusion was the bombing did not take place without a motive.

The people who planned and committed the offense were foreigners, no? Besides, it is not unheard of for troublemakers to do this little thing called "Reichstag," so tossing out the question is neither intellectually nor historically invalid.

I think if pressed on the matter, Ron Paul would not flat out assert that Mossad planned and executed the bombing. I say that because I've investigated his words and their context, being interested in facts rather than hyperbole. Of course I would be willing to consider differently if there evidence to the contrary on this particular point, namely some occasion where Ron Paul flat out says this is what he thinks. Then it would be up to him to provide the evidence, and that might prove just a tad dangerous, no?

Best to you! I've read lots of your posts and enjoy your feisty defense of what is right and good for the country we are blessed to inhabit. I hope you'll forgive me for checking into Ron Paul's ideas more closely, as on the face of things it has been difficult to find fault with them, despite all the hooting and howling that attends to his mention.
