I’m not some liberal operative, if that’s what you’re thinking; I’m an evangelical Christian who’s sick of electing perverts and crooks. If we had decent men and women in Washington, we wouldn’t have half the problems we do.
Obama has inflicted such serious economic harm to America that the economy will necessarily be the centerpiece of elections for years to come. Morality will take a back seat and voters will be more inclined to vote for more perverts and crooks.
You’ve got to hand it to the liberals for playing their hand well. If we focus on the economy, issues like reinstating DADT and curbing abortion will probably fall by the wayside. If we focus on morality instead, I agree that we’ll lose.
If you have any doubts about my authenticity, go look through my post history. Despite my personal opinions, I’ve always tried to support the current Not Romney. I’m excited about Santorum’s surge because he’s been my favorite from the start.
And if you still don’t believe me, I’ll have to drive down to the Burgh and snap yinz with my Terrible Towel.
Me too.
OK. I agree moral issues are important, they just aren’t the overriding concern of people without jobs and living in a car or with the parents. Maybe they should be, but they aren’t. Happy New Year.
Someone without a job, watching their child slowly wither away from hunger does not care too much if Stan and Frank get “married.”
