Classic case of a reporter trying to "bait" the candidate for a juicy sound-bite: Reporter: "... I have to ask you, are you calling Mitt Romney a liar?" "Yes," Gingrich replied. [BUT that was not a good "gotcha" reply, because CBS would need to include the reporter's baited question... So the guy asks it again, hoping for a complete sentence from Gingrich, that could be sliced and diced, and played over the air, by itself, out of context...] Reporter: "You're calling Mitt Romney a liar?"
[the reporter failed the second time as well, to get Newt to repeat back the reporter's words.]

Reporter: "You don't expect that you'll get first or second place, do you, Mr. Speaker?"
[THAT failed as well, to get a juicy new sound bite]
