I get what you’re saying, EV. Even if we have a Republican president, his picks still have to be properly vetted or we get another lib anyway.
Frankly, we’re not going to rein in the courts until we have legislators who are willing to impeach and remove the tyrants every time they step outside their legitimate bounds or abrogate their sworn oaths to support and defend the Constitution.
We had seven such judges here in my state who inflicted sodomite fake marriage on us. They decided they had the legislative and the executive power, and that they didn’t have to follow the constitution or the laws.
We the People threw three of them out in the last retention election, and we would have impeached the other four, given the chance. One of our few trustworthy legislators filed the impeachment resolutions in the last session. But the Republican leadership deep-sixed them.
Sorry, but we’re now saddled with a one-party system, even if they do wear two different masks at election time.
Believing promises from Republicans at this point would be akin to believing Bill Clinton if he told you he was now committed to marital fidelity.
