Mullah Ron Paul

Rep. Ron Pauls defense of Irans nuclear weapons program should surprise no one. The same resentment motivates Ron Paul and the Iranian leadership a paranoid hostility toward a world that is swiftly changing and has little mercy, and a Millenarian desire to return to a mythical, untroubled past. Get rid of the Federal Reserve, scourge the bankers, return to a gold standard and erect a wall around the United States and we will return to when? To 1957, when the Russians launched the first space satellite, alerting the United States to the danger that it might lose the Cold War? Then, as always, we prevailed, but by the skin of our teeth. Ron Pauls program is an American version of the Iranian desire to return to a world of Islamic purity that never existed, any more than did a golden age of American isolationism.

Did you know their best album was produced by the guitarist for the Butthole Surfers? This conspiracy is growing by leaps and bounds! ;)

It is troubling that Paul does not seem to recognize the threat to the West from radical Islam. One thing I like about Newt is he gets it. Right now I can back either Newt or Paul but if Paul continues to insist that Islam is not a real threat to Western civilization I may have to rethink my support of Paul. To bad because I like Paul better then Newt on domestic policy.

Get rid of the Federal Reserve, scourge the bankers, return to a gold standard and erect a wall around the United States... C'mon Spengler, you're better than this level of egregious conflation. The Fed is a nasty piece of work that makes the country borrow it's own money from private banker families and pay it back at insane interest rates to burden a third of a billion people with endless debt. To link the destruction of that to some sort of blind nationalism vulnerable to global growth is not only absurd, but the reverse of what would happen economically as the dollar grew strong again and the world beat a path to our door - which is exactly what was the real case in 1957.

Roninf5-1 is a true defender of “Doctor Paul.”
I’ve listened to Paul’s interviews wherein he “can” sound reasonable, especially when he denies some of the more insidious charges launched against him, but then I remember his own words! He’s a lunatic who would be worse than an appeaser!

As far as I can tell, Paul supporters are quite possibly to the left of Obama supporters.

Ron Paul is a dangerous, anti-semitic nut that would weaken the USA around the world.

Ron Paul is an extremely dangerous nutjob and is infecting others who would trade our freedom for destruction of our country. Too bad such stupidity isn't painful.

Seriously. The stink of paulbot has been on all over the forums lately. Paul cultists are literally coming out of the woodwork to push their loony leader. I guess the Iowa caucuses being so close explains it. It's ridiculous and a lot of us are sick of it. I've been wondering if we ought to get a group together who will make a pledge to donate $1/each to the FReepathon for each paulbot zot.
With RuPaul predicted to finish in the top 3 in Iowa, it's only going to get worse until he tanks in NH and SC.

Mullah Ron Paul I find the comparison of Ron Paul to a Mullah unfair and defamatory.
I think an apology is in order. I just hope, for your sake, the Mullahs accept it.

As far as I can tell, Paul supporters are quite possibly to the left of Obama supporters. The strange thing is their utter delusion; either a Marianna Trench depth of delusion, or just plain lying to make themselves look better than the anarchist/extreme-hard leftist/anti-Semite/pro-homosexualist/pro-drug-porn-vice/pro-death faux "states rights"/America haters that they are.
