I’ll go to the thread and look around. This is like fishing. My husband bought me a rod and reel and put a weight on the end and said I should go outside and practice throwing the line. I said I didn’t need to practice. So, we go fishing and he says I need to throw the hook in a certain spot “over there”, fairly long way away. Then he said, “but you won’t hit it”. Sooo, I kept my eye on that spot and throw that hook and it went exactly in the middle of that spot. Husband said, “Damn, I had to practice years to do that.” My hand/eye coordination has always been excellent.

So. have my rod and my eye and will go there and hunt.

I found another guy who hadn't made a single post in six months, then showed up this week and posted four posts actually telling people they need to vote for RuPaul. I'm pretty sure that is a zotting offense, right? For the first time I can remember, I actually pinged The Boss on a reply to the guy, hoping this might get us over the $100. :-)

Woohoo! I didn't even notice that it was a December 27th thread that someone had just bumped back up. I pinged JimRob on the thread and now the guy is one crispy Paulbot! We made it to $100! I'll add them up in a neat column and post the totals tomorrow. Who knows, we may even get another one, we have 3 more days!

Quick update. Thanks for being so understanding about the late night embarassment where I pinged JR to a paulbot he had already zotted four weeks ago. :-)

We have roughly 36 hours remaining before our end-of-the-month $$ tally and January donation to the FReepathon for the PaulBot Zot pledge. As you know, we only need one more PaulBot Zot to bring our total over $100.

Could you guys weigh in on how you’d like to acknowledge your pledge on the FReepathon thread? Here are three options:

1. We could post one collective acknowledgement of the $112 donation, with individual credit given to each donor in the acknowledgement
2. Each of us could post our individual $14 donation on the FReepathon thread, acknowledging that we’re a part of the PaulBot Zot pledge
3. We could combine the above two options. One post tonight for the collective $112 donation, then each individual could post his $14 donation on the Freepathon thread at the time he process his contribution

Your thoughts and preferences are invited.

The quarterly FReepathon is still ongoing, with the meter currently sitting at 42%. There’s always the choice that we could re-set our reader board to zero and start our PaulBot Zot pledge over again for the month of February. I’m up for that, with the understanding that everyone’s financial situation and enthusiasm level is different. If you would like in or out for continuing the PaulBot Zot pledge for the month of February, beginning anew at zero dollars, please let me know (either here or by FReepmail) and we’ll go from there.
