You said “renege.” When did any candidate ever agree to that debate in the first place? You have to agree to something initially in order for a later decision against it to be “reneging” on the agreement.

Well excuse me - they were offered the chance to show voters their strength with their knowledge and leadership qualities and THEY TURNED DOWN THE OFFER for 'their own' benefit and not for the benefit of voters. That says volumes to me. Is that better? I'm speaking to conservatives here - not nit pick liberals - where everything must be spelled out for them - lest a word throws them off.
