“Anoreth was in Alameda the past week on a legal matter...”
Providing security for the Port of Oakland, most likely. Local PD has no backup from local Leftist Loon Mayor & is, therefore, pretty much neutered.
CG is based out in the middle of the bay on Treasure Island — just about right underneath the Bay Bridge — well out of range of smelly would-be occupiers.
Knock ‘em dead [figuratively, of course].

One of my Facebook friends posted this yesterday. Now I’m trying to remember what I was doing when I was eight years old.
Probably fractions.

She said they were Occupying the bridge, so the CG personnel couldn’t leave the base without Causing Offense. (Not that Anoreth hesitates to Cause Offense, but someone higher-up decided they shouldn’t.) They were going to get beer, engage in mockery, and take pictures, last I heard.

When I was eight years old, I was suffering most of the school year with rheumatic fever. Nothing quite as fun as that little girl! I had to put that on MY facebook page! LOL!

Go, Anoreth! I hope you will share some of the mocking photos with the UT. Thanks for having our backs. You have no idea how immensely proud we all are of you and your willingness to serve America.

But he’s doing “jazz hands”!
That should be a stoning offense!
Forget the fumble, the problem is jazz hands on the field.
He should be bum rushed by zombies for that.

I’m fairly certain it was not my watch.
Although, I’m always on the lookout for a pocket watch with both analog and digital displays on it. If I’m going to carry a redundant anachronism, it should also have redundant and anachronistic readouts on it.

No, it wasn’t your watch. I dropped it behind Bill’s dresser, so it would be really hard for him to find it and get it out.
I agree about the readouts.
