Theres no doubting that Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly has endeared herself to her audience. Shes wildly popular with a loyal fan base. And Thursday afternoon she may have showed why: shes not afraid to go off script and even get personal. Case in point: she revealed she once had a potentially embarrassing breastfeeding incident on a plane.
Fox reporter Trace Gallagher was discussing the recent nurse-ins, where mothers in response to a fellow mother being asked not to breastfeed at a Target store descended on stores across the country to breastfeed their babies in public. And after he wrapped up his report, Kelly offered a personal anecdote.
You know, I got a lot of thoughts on this, Trace, she explained with a smile on her face. Let me just put it this way: I used to feel a lot differently before I had babies and youre breastfeeding; they need to be fed and then sometimes they dont like the cover. And before you know it, youre Megyn Kelly and youre showing your breasts to a whole plane.
Gallagher responded by laughing and clapping his hands which is about all he could do at that point.

Totally agree with your assessment. Another thing that annoys me: Ever since Michelle Obama started flaunting her toned arms the women at Fox (with the exception of Julie Banderas-I have yet to see her doing this) jumped on the fashion bandwagon and started wearing sleeveless tops! Even in winter. You rarely see them wearing a jacket. And the all-time thing that annoys me: Gretchen Carlson and Alisyn Cammerata sitting on the Fox and Friends couch with short skirts and constantly adjusting them so they don’t ride up. Why don’t they wear a longer skirt or sit behind a desk??? Aaarrgghh! They are both talented—why do they think they have to degrade themselves like this to get viewers?
I don’t know why she did that. She looks horrible in that spread. I like the way she looks on her show: wholesome and non-skanky.
Without the sarcasm, you would be a muslim.
Real fact: Lyndon Johnson was known to whip it out in front of reporters. He called it “Jumbo.”
I've always thought that was so un-professional. And young women these days dress that way for all kinds of 'professional' jobs.
But frankly, it's hard to find attractive tops or dresses these days that don't show cleavage!! I wish the fashion designers would take that into consideration, but as long as women buy the clothes, they'll continue to make them. Sadly, if you need clothes, you can only buy what's available to you locally, unless you can get online, which is what I do.;o)
Breastfeeding babies is the most healthy choice for mother and baby. Mother's hormones get regulated more naturally, and baby gets all kinds of immunity from varied diseases. It can be done without making those around Mom uncomfortable, unless they're just going to be squeamish at the very idea.
Something similar happened to me when I was driving from MA to DC many years ago. I was with my then 9 month old daughter, and two sons, 6 and 9. We were driving along the NJ Turnpike, and she got hungry. I pulled over, got her up in the driver’s seat with me, and started nursing her, and a Smokie pulled up behind me. He walked up and asked if we were OK. I told him we were fine, I just had to stop and feed my daughter. He just laughed and said OK, take your time, and walked back to his car.
Absolutely. I watched a trailer of a new movie about Margaret Thatcher set for release in January. What a a contrast.
geez I would love to see what you consider gorgeous
Megan Kelly is like a dream woman to me

I’ve wondered if the photographer, makeup artist etc. made her look bad on purpose. She looks so much better than that on FNC. That pic does not flatter her at all.
You’re tellin’ me! That photog made her look like a cross between a tramp and a mantis. Megyn Kelly is a beautiful woman, and she should get her money back.
