Wrong about what? That Romney has only ever won one election? That Romney implemented mandatory health care? That Romney got crushed by Ted Kennedy? That Romney's governorship led to the election of the most incompetent and corrupt governor in state history (Patrick Deval)? That Romney is an uninspiring candidate that will result in an Obama landslide?
That all said, I think personally Mitt Romney is a pretty decent guy. I just wish he'd stick with the private sector.

Agreed. The term “all hat and no cattle” certainly applies to Romney.
When he gets the nomination, that sound you will hear, are the people at DNC Headquarters, High-Fiving each other.

Agreed that there is a trade off here. There are a lot of soccer moms that pulled that lever for Obama in 2008 that won’t pull that lever for Newt. They might for Romney.

The moderate Republicans and Dems I speak with are for Romney.Republican candidates don't win by focusing on the moderate Republicans and Dems. If they did, McCain was a shoe-in. Republicans win when the Republican base turns out. Every moderate Republican and Dem I know LOVED John McCain. They all voted for Obama.

Yes, there was an article a few months detailing how many of the candidates courted support from Drudge but he was fully in the tank for Romney. Keep in mind him and Coulter are “close friends.”

Do you really think American women would vote for Gingrich or Obama before Romney?
Do you??

I agree.
Better Romney than Obama, but I know heads are exploding as I type this.

Do you really think American women would vote for Gingrich or Obama before Romney? They voted for that walking sexual harassment machine, Ted Kennedy, over Romney, when Romney ran against him for Senate.

Being an American woman, I can tell you I have been dismayed by all the women who think it is required to be progressive and cool to support Obama, so yes, I think the majority of women will vote for Obama. Conservative women are rare.

Wow the posting at FR is getting delusional.
Yep. Romney is the best REPUBLICAN against Obama by far and has a good shot at winning. Rick Perry is the best CONSERVATIVE of the Republicans but would have a more difficult path in the general. That’s just how it is.

Keep in mind Drudge and the rest of the media are happy to promote Santorum and Paul because they take away the conservative votes from Newt but are not a threat to Romney, whose base is moderates. This is a strategy to split the conservative vote so Romney can sneak through as the marginal winner. Dick Morris discussed the other night how this has happened in a lot of primaries. They push a crackpot candidate like Paul to steal votes away from the one strong plausible alternative like Newt and crush his campaign. Then Romney can easily defeat the crackpot one the election broadens to other larger states.
