The only reason Romney is polling ahead of Zero is because the media hasn’t laid a finger on him yet. He hasn’t been touched as they have picked off every other candidate.

I’m only worried about the ones who want to be called a leader and (in the case of a US Senator) have a hand in sending young men to war and the ability to shape the type of military they serve in. The fact that Mitt Romney’s five husky sons decided to sit out combat as young women their age went off to war is their right. It’s my right to point out that is the decision they made.

You make a good point here. The fact that the GOP will do really well in the old confederacy or the Left does well in California and the Northeast isn’t important. It is a fifty state race, or more accurately, probably a question of a dozen or so states.

I agree with you that Gingrich will have the stronger hand in a debate. I’d also be more comfortable having him choose USSC justices.

“They must really think Obama can beat Romney since they are pushing for Romney so bad. I wonder what skeletons they have on Willard, or, do they just assume he wont fight, like McLame.”
Every time you hear the word “MORMON” after the primaries take a drink.

Rasmussen is not “Obamas People”.

When you realize that the average-uninformed-legal-to-vote-American-public DOES NOT CARE about politics, and DOES NOT FOLLOW THE ISSUES, we will stop deluding ourselves into supporting an issues oriented candidate. It wont work. And the nonsense of believing otherwise will return Obama right back to the White House. Depressing, yes. But its reality in this culture.

Romney? LOL! The MSM is settin’ us up, once again. Obama will win in a landslide against Romney. And I won’t be voting for Romney. How many millions of others won’t be voting for Romney? Romney shouldn’t even be on the GOP ticket.

I would LOVE to nominate a good conservative candidate who could beat Obama and serve as a conservative President for at least four years.
Unfortunately, it is highly questionable at best whether such a candidate is in this race. I would FAR prefer Gingrich, Santorum, or Perry to Romney as President. The problem is that a lot of swing voters would seem to prefer four more years of Obama to Gingrich, Santorum, or Perry.
As for the rest, while I'm not a fan of Romney, I disagree that he is the same as Arnold. I think both our country and our party would be far better off with Romney as President than with four more years of Obama. While the likelihood of a Republican Congress for at least the first two years will somewhat mitigate the damage Obama could do in a second term, I don't think it will be enough for stop Obama from fundamentally moving this country to the left. After all, while we had a conservative backlash against the liberalism of the 60s and 70s, we are still living with and suffering from almost all of the major policies of the Great Society.
I'm not backing Romney because I haven't given up yet on the possibility that a more conservative candidate could beat Obama. However, if I became certain that Romney was the only candidate with a chance of beating Obama, then Romney would have my vote in the primary.

Do you really think American women would vote for Gingrich or Obama before Romney? Do you??Well, I wish they wouldn't. But I have three sisters who are addicted to the Kool-Ade.
