Not quite. As explained unambiguosly in Canon Law, the Church does not recognize civil divorce in a valid consummated mariage.
Can. 1141 A marriage which is ratified and consummated cannot be dissolved by any human power or by any cause other than death.
Well actually it just forbids re-marriage in the Catholic church and you cannot take communion anymore.
