Sure wish His Eminence would not have backpedaled.

I'd say that's a fair comparison .. in terms of destructiveness to civilization. Fags = klansmen.
Yeah, that works.

come close to resembling those of the Ku Klux Klan, which were characterized by the same hatred towards Catholicism. They're not too fond of us BREEDERS, either!

It is worth remembering that the first KKK was born in Tennessee in 1886 as a secret society. Its members, who shared a complex ritual, consisting in robes and white hoods, marred themselves with a series of crimes against coloured people. In 1871 Congress declared the organization illegal. Declared illegal 15 years before it was born? Neat trick! < /fixthetypoalert >

One only has to look at what happened to Prop 8 supporters in Cali.

His Eminence was speaking truth to power. The lavendar mafia made him blink. Pity.

Congress was proactive back then? They outlawed it 15 years before it was created?
To: markomalley
They will be far more successful than the KKK were at intimidating others into changing public policy, because back then, you wouldn’t be Catholic AND KKK. Today, some large number are are Catholic AND ‘confused’ into being ‘libertarian’ on sexual immorality. Today, there are a number of Catholics on the Courts and in Congress that are against the Truth and will side with them, against our teachings and freedom. (There is a lot of money and the televised news/entertainment industry has their absolute support) The new healthcare without conscience protection is the perfect example of enforced support of something anathema to our Church, yet many influencial Catholics supported it.
But who needs to be employed as a doctor or a nurse or a pharmacist or a wedding photograper anyway. We’ll just copy the successful Vietnamese immigrants that came here after working with us in Vietnam, sweeping floors at factories here when once they were doctors and nurses. Until we’re spotted in those jobs too. Perhaps the good Cardinal should have said “Soviet May Day Parade”.
To: markomalley
I guess it’s too late for him to stick by his guns ... sigh.
At least the Klan guys were covered up, though - no vomit-inducing displays of sodomitic flesh.

He should have stuck to his guns. Sodomites may be even more anti-Catholic than the KKK was.

Agreed. He was right in the first place. And this will be said again, and back-pedaled away from again. But it will still be true.
