Rep. Kevin Yoder (R-Kan.), in an interview published Monday, predicted that President Obama would narrowly win reelection next year but that Republicans would capture the Senate.

"If I had to predict, I would project that the president would narrowly win reelection, the House would stay the way it is and the Senate would go Republican," said Yoder, in an interview with the Kansas City Star.

That could be easily acheived if Romney, Paul and Huntsman would drop out for the good of the Nation.

he might be an idiot, but right now. so am i...that's how I’m seeing it right now. Notwithstanding his dismal performance numbers. Obama’s personal likability continues to poll in the high 70’s low 80’s.

I agree. As much as I despise the rats, with the lame brained Republican candidates we have, I think Obama will win another term. I hate to say that, and I surely hope I am wrong, but until election night, I am sure Obama will win again. It happened with Clinton, it will happen with Obama.

He's blaming it on the Conservatives pledge not to raise taxes.

No news here, Yoder (my 3rd Dist.) congressman, voted for every tax increase when he served in the KS House of Rep., along with his other RINOs representing KS voters.

They always claimed "it's for the children" don't you know.

It is very discouraging that so many posters will not vote for Romney under any circumstances. Romney is not my first, second or even third choice. However, in what will be a close election,, the alternative to Romney will be Obama. To me that is an alternative worse than death.

Yoder, “We know 95 percent of Republicans signed the no-tax pledge. They’ve made it very clear. I don’t know what we benefit ourselves from continuing to go down that road.”

This is probably his way of getting our team to face the reality that this is not 2010 any more and they had better get their act together.

I agree with Rep. Yoder except for the ‘narrow’ part. I believe Obama will be re-elected quite comfortably because the GOP old-turd establishment is bound and determined to have Romney as the nominee. The damnable neo-cons like Karl Rove are trashing conservatives at every turn and I am so stinking mad at them I can’t find words to express just how mad I am. But I can say that if these rotten SOB’s get their way and nominate Romney there is no way in hell I will vote for Romney. Screw Karl Rove and screw the establishment GOP! And by ‘screw I really mean %$@*!

A real leader does not predict his side’s defeat, even if that’s what he’s thinking. We need more leaders, fewer politicians.

Unfortunately, I'll walk across broken glass to vote for the GOP nominee - anything to get the Obama's as far away from ruining (running) this country as possible.

Mittens probably qualifies as a "progressive" but Obama is pure Marxist and the question of progressive vs Marxism, I'll vote for progressive then work to get all RINOs out of Congress so that Mittens can inflict little harm.

Trust me, Yoder is NO “real leader,” he’s an incompetent RINO!

Exactly.

He's not a Conservative, he's another RINO telling Conservatives to submit to the GOP establishment and just accept Obama for another 4 years.

The only people who talk like that are democrats. This guy is obviously a democrat who runs as a republican in order to get elected in a very conservative district.

Well then, the GOP should have thought of that consequence when they decided to cram Mittens down our throats.

The only way to get a message through their thick skulls is to see Romney lose. If they bamboozle conservatives into voting for Romney, then they can cram all manner of non-conservative crap down our throats, just as Bush did with medicare part d, the TEA, TARP, etc.
