Rep. Kevin Yoder (R-Kan.), in an interview published Monday, predicted that President Obama would narrowly win reelection next year but that Republicans would capture the Senate.
"If I had to predict, I would project that the president would narrowly win reelection, the House would stay the way it is and the Senate would go Republican," said Yoder, in an interview with the Kansas City Star.

If we continue the circular firing squad, he will win in a landslide.
I think that the fact that Democrats make that point makes me wonder why they continue to put those types of things in legislation. I think its frustrating for me when one side says, Look, were not going to accept a certain provision in legislation, no matter what, and the other side continues to put them in there.
We know 95 percent of Republicans signed the no-tax pledge. Theyve made it very clear. I dont know what we benefit ourselves from continuing to go down that road.

I have to disagree Toby. For one reason. The republican establishment. The establishment is so petulant that they’re going to continue to undermine any conservative candidate from now until the nomination.
And should a conservative get the nomination, whoever that conservative nominee is, is going to have to defeat simultaneously Obama, the DNC, the RNC, and the media.
Conversely, what if the republican establishment successfully forces Romney upon us?
Many of us conservatives will stay home and others will go third party. Obama will then have defeated McCain for a second time.
What’s circular about the republican establishment’s war against conservatism?
Can someone please teach these Republican that if reporters start asking you questions and you don’t have anything interesting, useful or constructive to say then just STFU.
Sometimes I just feel like bitch slapping these people.
He must know that the fix is in for Romney.
To me, Gingrich\Romney look\sound like they're constipated.

I won’t stay home. But I won’t vote for the Commie lib posing as a republican Mittens either. I’ll skip the top of the ticket or write in.
I gotta make sure Michelle stays in the house after all ;)
(and hopefully send Amy K packing from the senate)
Another scum RINO traitor. He’s trying to depress the conservative base. Primary the SOB and vote him out.
Somebody tell the stupid ba$ta#d to shut his big mouth and stop feeding the press they are not our friends.
In other words, he wants to compromise because he believes he will have some Rat friends.
If you think your going to loose you will. This apathy and dispirit is what gave us the loss last time.We have no fire in the belly.TEA party has been marginalized.
It’s reassuring that my congressman (Yoder) is listening to the RINOs in his leadership, the RINOs at the RNC and all of the other “Establishment” in DC. (/sarcasm)
Ditto. Completely agree.
You might as well just stay home then.
Quote: he might be an idiot, but right now. so am i...that’s how Im seeing it right now. Notwithstanding his dismal performance numbers. Obamas personal likability continues to poll in the high 70s low 80s.
To me, Gingrich\Romney look\sound like they’re constipated.
I couldn’t agree more. While the Pubbies circle each other like sharks in a feeding frenzy, Jug-Ears merrily vacations our tax dollars away with his “What, me worry?” attitude. Is the fix already in and he knows he’s going to win? Dems foist no-starters off on Republicans in the primaries and the real conservatives give up and stay home assuring another term for ol’ Jug-Ears.
I disagree with Yoder, Obama will probably win comfortably..
I disagree with Yoder, Obama will probably win comfortably..
That could be easily acheived if Romney, Paul and Huntsman would drop out for the good of the Nation.
