Considering that there doesn’t seem to be an overwhelming favourite, at this point in time, it seems to be the way it is shaping up.

>>such as former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, could emerge as the nominee.

Oh please, not another Bush.

Here we go again — not one vote has been cast yet, and the crepe hangers are going at it already.

Some have speculated that, due to dissatisfaction with the current field, someone who has not even campaigned for the position, such as former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, could emerge as the nominee.

GOP: We aren't just stupid, we also don't have any imagination either.

The pick of Romney will be the death of the GOP and then the death of us all.

Notice how the author studiously avoids mentioning She Whose Name Must Not Be Spoken?

For the 1000th time, NO!

Just because we have a bunch of people pouting over their “perfect” candidate not polling at the top. does not mean that we are going to have state after state just tossing votes willy-nilly to whomever for giggles.

After NH, all but maybe 3 people will still be in this. That 3rd person will be out before Super Tuesday.

Republicans are the thing that is broken. Except for Newt, our only chance. It takes ba!!s and the only candidate that comes close is Newt. The rest are infighters and infighters always lose.

Can we draft a candidate? The current choices suck.

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney has remained at a steady 20 to 25 percent,

Not exactly a mandate is it?

I remember watching a brokered convention when I was a kid. It was interesting to watch.

This would only be possible if no one dropped out of the race, when we all know that Bachmann and Santorum will be gone soon, followed by Perry after his South Carolina loss.

As which point it will basically be a two man race between Romney and Gingrich with Ron Paul pretending he can win with his 10% support for awhile.

And in a two man race, Gingrich is ahead of Romney by a whopping 20 points
