Another fake company Pyeonghwa Motors (Hangul : 평화자동차) (Hancha : 平和自動車), (a Korean language word for "peace", also spelled Pyonghwa) is one of only two car manufacturers and dealers in North Korean automotive industry. It is a joint-venture in Nampo between Pyonghwa Motors of Seoul (South Korea), a company owned by Sun Myung Moon's Unification Church, and the North Korean Ryonbong General Corp. The joint venture produces small cars under licence from Fiat and Brilliance China Auto,[1], a pick-up truck and an SUV using complete knock down kits from Chinese manufacturer Dandong Shuguang, a Mercedes-Benz/SsangYong design luxury cars. Pyeonghwa has the exclusive rights to car production, purchase, and sale of used cars in North Korea. However, most North Koreans are unable to afford a car. Because of the very small market for cars in the country, Pyeonghwa's output is reportedly very low. In 2003, only 314 cars were produced even though the factory had the facilities to produce up to 10,000 cars a year.[2] Erik van Ingen Schenau, author of the book Automobiles Made in North Korea, has estimated the company's total production in 2005 at not more than around 400 units. .... Meanwhile it is the only company that advertises (billboards, TV commercials(??)) in an effort to show NK people that their country has such a capability. .... lol

Elderly man was force to tour the new rat cake facility for 7 hours, and clearly had to pee. Gort, standing behind Der leader sees the old man as being weak, smelling of urine.

It’s not like the people there have a choice but the show the proper amount of mourning.

Daily NK reported:

Following the official announcement of Kim Jong Il’s death today, North Korea has imposed rigid social controls, including the complete closure of markets.

An inside source told Daily NK this lunchtime, “The jangmadang is closed and people are not allowed to go outside. Local Party secretaries are issuing special commands through local Union of Democratic Women unit chairwomen, and the chairwomen have been gathered at district offices for emergency meetings.”

According to the source, National Security Agency and People’s Safety Ministry agents have been deployed in streets and alleyways to control civilian movements. There have not been any signs of public unrest to date.

Kim Jong Il’s sudden death has apparently caught people off-guard, the source revealed, commenting, “Nobody had the slightest idea about the General’s death even right before they saw the broadcast. You can hear the sound of wailing outside.”

And now, Kim Chub Son is in charge. Good luck with that. Looking at his porcine figure, I think we’ve found the source of the food shortage.

love the way everyone has notebooks at the ready so they can take down anything the Dear Leader says.

And notice how cold these "factories" seem to be. Everyone is dressed in warm winter coats.

Seems like the only picture where Dear Leader is truly smiling is when he’s looking at sausages.

Hmmmm...
