-——Perhaps Palin actually is as smart, as many of us thought she is.——

That is likely true but is trumped by her dithering. Perhaps dithering is actually teasing. Whichever, her tease has made her unnominateable much less electable in the current campaign.

As a Cain man, I currently have no candidate.

I like Newt and I like Rick. Either would make a strong President even though they do not toe the line of fervent conservatives

If (any) candidate were actually getting traction yet, I would agree with you. Palin would have already been out of potentially re-joining the contest.

Nobody is gaining traction. All that is happening, is all our people are complaining about all our other people. It’s a giant b@tch session.

Palin is once again, currently just as viable as the rest. She’s been bruised, but so has every other candidate. Nobody else however, has as large a potential enthusiastic pool of people who would reluctantly at first, then with momentum, gather to support her.

Another thing, remember we currently have a (lot) of candidates. This means the early primaries will likely be splitting delegates among several “winners”.

The early primaries, which Palin may miss due to filing deadlines, will be less important simply because the results will be diluted among more candidates.

She’ll be able to enter in time to be part of a (smaller) group of competitors, in primaries which will award the winner an ever-larger proportion of those delegates.

Palin can absolutely win this thing.

No question at all.

You see it as dithering but you have no idea what Sarah saw/knew/experienced. She has never dithered - always the first one to call barry, et al out - thinking of obamacare and everyone else was silent. She is not a ditherer in any fashion. She's young and her life is full of many many great accomplishments for our country for a mom of five.

I like Newt and Perry, also, and they have the credentials, accomplishments to run for the presidency. And agree... even though they do not toe the line of fervent conservatives...and that too, we don't know all the facts and all the variables in some of their decisions.

I side more with Newt - he would truly be a president who would be burning the midnight oil. I'm impressed with his stance on the judges and that is one MAJOR problem. I'd like to see both Perry and Santorum in his administration. Perry has the strongest handle on illegal immigration - he deals with it 24/7. I think a Newt presidency would go down as one of the greats. Some think if one is a conservative - it's automatic they have the skills needed for the presidency, not so; and it's not a negative for them at all.
