Peace accords are too often negotiated only between the small number of armed combatants who originally fought the war In other words... Experience and intimate knowledge of the issue and conflict is trounced because of man's foolish pride.

Margaret Thatcher, Golda Mier and Indira Gandhi - those would be the primary female national leaders of the last few decades. All led their countries in major shooting wars, and did it well.
