Republican Presidential candidate Texas Governor Rick Perry makes a campaign stop at the La Chiesa Italian Restaurant in Spencer, Iowa, which is located in northeast part of the state in Clay County. The Governor criticized Newt Gingrich & Ron Paul for their support of congressional earmarks and said hed consider Herman Cain as Defense Secretary in his cabinet if elected president. He has all the characteristics of the type of person I would bring forward, Perry told patrons at the restaurant.
Seriously....maybe he meant kitchen cabinet?
I don't think he wants to REALLY work...He certainly didn't pay attention to what was going on in Libya.
Bottom line...he's just an old, washed up lobbyist who talks a good game.
I like Cain, but if Rick is going to push someone in Sec Def, he could seriously look at Allen West.
Cain is a washed up lobbyist?
Oy vey Perry!! Not a smart move.
I thought people Loved Herb!
What the heck was he supposed to say.... I would not go near that ass%$#$# Cain, tha race card player, with all his cheating on his wife and an IQ of zero on foreign policy.
What I see is a man ( Rick Perry) that has more high character in one finger then Herman Cain has in his entire body.
But go ahead and do a knee jerk reaction that is getting very typical lately.
Amazing. St. Herb was the Right One to lead the free world just a few weeks ago, now it’s a disqualifying offense to mention him as possible for some cabinet position.
Have Conservatives always been this stupid?
I am so confused!
When Cain was in the race people thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread!
We wanted him as CIC, Now he is not fit for a cabinet position that he himself covets because Perry diplomatically said he admired Cains traits?
First Reaction......Good Grief Rick, have you lost your mind?
I can’t figure out why Perry is so radioactive.
Apparently he is a threat to many.
It’s a quandary.
The National Restaurant Association is/was one big lobby group.
Cognitive dissonance
Respectfully, but no, he didn't have to answer. In fact, politicians rarely answer any question they don't want too.
He should have said it was premature to be thinking about that and gone on the the next question.
Pandering for Cain votes...
Pandering for Cain votes...
Yeah, all 3 of them...
No, I think you have him confused with Perry. Oh wait.
We’ll have to see...Perry hasn’t folded up like a cheap lawn chair like Fast Herb did ...
