The Bambino BTW, does anyone know if Newt has a sport? Please tell his handlers NOT, I repeat NOT let him: 1. Go on SNL 2. Take any photos with a hat or helmet on 3. Wear only suits, slacks, shirt etc. No bathing suits or running shorts. 4. No Groveling on Late NIght Talk Shows 5. No shooting baskets or throwing a baseball unless he's practiced and knows how

If the tide has really turned, and I believe it has, it doesn't matter what the fascist democrat party faithful are loaded and ready for. Whatever they do is going to backfire on them and as the democrat controlled House, Senate, and Presidency, combination proved, they not only will not try anything different no matter how dire the situation, they're incapable of even thinking of anything different to try.

I hear what you're saying, but the time when the fascists can whip up the sort of frenzy they were able to get going against Newt before isn't going to happen again. If this were still what the democrat fascists see as, "the good ole' days", it wouldn't have taken so many liars to knock Cain out of the running. Back then, two white women with a line of baloney and he'd have been gone.

Whatever you think of Newt in the past or Newt today, he has proved he can deliver. No one else has, noit Romney, Perry, or anyone else running. At least not that the mass of Independents in this country remember or recognize. Better still, Newt will probably be the first Republican since Reagan to peel away a good many democrat faithful from the incumbent, this time maybe for good. If I'm wrong and the country hasn't turned the corner and finally realized the dead end the democrat fascist represent, then whoever might win is toast anyway. I'm just not that fatalistic nor do I see any reason to be given the 2010 elections and the fact that Newt has risen to the top of the pack. That means people are actually listening and thinking, not just acting like Paulbots and falling for the best looking PR.

JMHO

Something for you to consider ... We are stuck with the candidates that we have. If there was someone else serious about running, they would be now. It is not possible to build an on-the-ground organization to win enough primaries for the nomination if starting today. Even the current candidates have their own difficulties setting up their organizations this late in the game.

Personally, I want to focus on what candidates have done while in office. That's the first cut. Second, I want to focus on what they say they will do. Then I will ask the question is the candidate consistent going forward with his past. After that, I look at what I agree and not agree with each candidate.

The tough part is deciding between candidates that are close. That's when I look at personality, baggage, ability to articulate, and general electability.

My system works based on actions and truth (although, future promises do not equate to truth.) What doesn't help are statements taken out of context, videos cut in mid-sentence, or opinions that that come from people with personal beefs.

When Newt was speaker, his pissed off a lot of people. That needs to be tempered by knowing that he was leading a Republican congress that had zero experience being the majority. Maybe, just maybe, that pissed off some people, especially thoses that were proven wrong in their approach. They failed in the past, Newt succeeded. I'm not going to listen to losers whine.

You need to recall that Newt was chased from congress by Republicans. The ethics charges well all dismissed, minus one, which was later dismissed by the IRS. Where was the rest of the republican revolution? They acted as if they were still in the minority.

Politics is a tough business. We're not playing for trophies. We're up against a bunch of thug socialists from Chicago. Being negative against our own is not helpful.

If you want to advocate for one candidate, then more power to you. We have a lack of positive truthful information on all the candidates. We are stuck with the candidates that we have. Let's be realistic and make the best decisions possible while not wishing for the impossible ... the perfect candidate.

Is this a joke? It has to be—

MSNBC—who we know is such a GREAT AND STUPENDOUS admirer of conservatism—would push things like this artificial inflating of Gingrich (if that is further possible) ONLY if it knew Gingrich would be an absolute election disaster for Republicans, his immensely destructive tendencies (self and otherwise) resonating to the severe detriment of conservatives in most contests from White House to local dog-catcher.
