South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley endorsed Mitt Romney for president Friday, saying he has the executive experience in the private and public sectors that proves he can deal "with a broken Washington."

Go Perry is right! ObamneyCare is one big eyebrow RINO and Newt is a good ole boy DC insider; he is McCain with an encyclopedia and Clinton moderate BS mixed in; RINO.
VP pick by Romney is the ONLY sane explanation for the business as usual usual endorsement
This is nothing more than the establishment trying to get Mitt a victory in the South Carolina primary, because historically, the winner of SC gets the nomination.
They played this game four years ago and they’re playing it again. It remains to be seen if the people of SC will go along with it.
I think SC will wise up and go Perry. That is our last hope.
“Well. I had hoped for a Perry endorsement”
Me too. But we all know it’s political payback for last year’s endorsement in the governor’s race.
I think she would have been a lot smarter to endorse Perry. Many Southern voters are not Romney fans and do NOT want socialized medicine. She would have been a lot smarter to endorse a Southern candidate.
I think the real person Obama is afraid of is Rick Perry, a candidate with the most executive branch experience out of any of the GOP candidates and who isn’t afraid to tell it like it is.
With Romney as our nominee, Obama would simply look at him and say, “I don’t know why you’re even arguing against me because we modeled our health care plan after YOURS!”
Nikki honey, nobody is scared of Mittens
Why, when he loses, he can be his own dummy in Madame Tussauds
Now if you ran ...I could smell some fear
Romney is my last choice....if that.
I'd vote Perry before Romney. I just hope it doesn't come down to this.
Kind of sours me on Haley, though.
The only reason McLame won SC last time is because of cross-over voters. Is there still an open primary (the purpose of which I NEVER understood - why allow people who aren't committed to your party vote in its primary)?
Anyhow, this is VERY disappointing. Seems more and more as time goes on that the Tea Party moniker was used to obtain power by the usual crew of self-serving, go-along, get-along RINOs. Not all of them, to be sure, but it seems to be the case here.
“I must say that the first dozen or so responses are entirely unlike what happened after ODonnells endorsement was made public.”
That’s because most realized O’Donnell was trying to sabotage Mitt with her “endorsement”.
I like her but I don’t agree. Gingrich would wipe the floor with Obama in any debate. Newt suggested seven 3-hour debates with Obama? That would be the best TV ever!
The Tea Party failed to put a viable candidate on the field. If you want to beat Obama, you have to pick from the establishment candidates. Romney is a better pick than Newt. Haley made the rational choice.
Of course, historically they are all dead wrong.
I'm fairly confident that should Romney actually win the nomination there will be a major third party candidate.
With the lack of faith in Conservatism by so many Republican leaders, it might just be a battle which has to happen.
To those who say that a third party will likely mean an Obama reelection, I submit that nominating a Republican Moderate would guarantee an Obama reelection.
Apparently the Republican establishment still holds the power to foist yet another losing RINO on GOP voters and using Republican governors that we assumed were somewhat conservative to endorse a mega-RINO like Mitt Romney is one of their tools. Too bad. I wonder what Haley was thinking to pretend that Obama 'fears' the Mandate Man, Mitt Romney? Maybe it's his bright smile or his perfect hair.
I'll vote in my state's Republican primary but after that, I'm changing my voter registration to independent. The Republican party no longer 'represents' me in any substantive way and I'm sick of their endless parade of RINO candidates (often losers) and 'me-too' attitude toward big, intrusive government.
Oh yeah Mittens is just soooo intimidating. At the first mention of Bain Capital this guy whined and looked like a wimp. Gimme a break. Mittens response to any attack on him is to yell “no fair.”. Like that will stop Obama!
Mmmno.
Disappointing for sure.
The post debate MSM reporting clearly indicates that the MSM is pushing for a Romney-Bachman ticket. It is even clearer that the one they fear is Gingrich.
Newt is the one who said Barney Frank and Chris Dodd should go to jail. He’s the one who said the Palestinians are an invented people. He has called Obama an “Alinsky radical”. Newt said that John Bolton would be his sec of defense.
Newt’s the gunslinger, firing real bullets at both Obama and liberalism itself. He wants to be sheriff, and he’s telling us who he’d shoot first. He’s bursting through the saloon doors, guns blazing, while the rest are at the bar ordering sasparilla.
Liberals fear Newt could put Obama on the defensive, having to defend not only his policies, but his ideology. They fear Newt could put liberalism on trial, and I believe the jury is in such a foul mood he just might get a conviction.
Who cares who anyone endorses anymore. They are worthless. At the end of the day, Romney is still going to lose and Haley is still going to be a fine Gov.
You’re correct about the establishment but I read an article that things have changed so much that SC’s pick is possibly not the nominee.I wonder if Jindal bows to Rove or if he will endorse Perry? If it wouldn’t be for the Newt love (which is fading) Perry would be up there and beat Romney. So the Newt bots in the tank for a RINO are enabling Romney. If Perry picked Palin as a VP would the Newt bots quit the Perry jealousy and hate? I don’t buy they’re BS story that Perry is pro amnesty when they are supporting a RINO....it makes no sense.Perry will do what needs to be done and that is stop the insider trading cronyism in DC and put em all on Part time with pay cuts.Newt will just carry on the ponzi scheme insider trading as he is one of them and buds with them.
