I understand. Though if you looked back through my posting history you’d see that I’m no sycophantic Sarah supporter. I like her generally, and I’m glad she’s out there in the mix of idea-makers. Unfortunately she’s poison right now as a candidate.

I’m just tired of the cheap shots and sleazy mudslinging. She’s not even in the race. She’s a good person who has served her community and her state better than most of us ever will. She is exactly what I think the founders had in mind to step up as citizen statesmen. How about we all give it a rest?

I’m not going to go around the forum and spout of about Palin on every Palin thread. I’m willing to give it a rest. I’ve pretty much given it a rest for years.

Are the Palin supporters as willing to give it a rest? I doubt it.

If Palin had gone through the steps to become a candidate this year, I might buy into your Founding Father’s vision premise.

At this point she’s nothing more than the annoying Aunt with the ear piercing voice in the back seat telling us how to drive.

Tell her to shut up and quit kicking my seat.
