Funny, didn't hear from the media about the backlash they faced from advertising on the show in the first place.

Anyway, good for Lowe's. I need to fix my garage doors this weekend and this is as good of an excuse as any. ;-)

If consumers would only wise up about just how much power they have.

I can’t wait to see (as if) this Islamofascist Fam showing the kiddies playing War craft on their playstation. Or the wifey in shorts and a tube top while cooking dinner /s

I’d imagine muslims don’t do too much in the way of home improvement. “I love what you’ve done w/your cave.” (Forgot quote source.)

Bullsh*t. Anyone inclined to “backlash” against Lowes from pulling its ads from TLC’s pro muslim propoganda wouldn’t be the kind I’d expect to bumb into in the tool crib at a hardware store.

Now I have three reasons to shop at Lowes:
1. They are NOT Homodepot
2. They give me a 10% military retiree discount
3. They don’t support Muzzie propaganda.

I noticed this story yesterday. I wonder if there’s any way we can register our support of Lowe’s online?

LOL! Of course...everyone knows that when Al Queda types aren’t detonating themselves amid masses of school children or elderly, they are pondering the finer points of interior design and home improvement.

How dare they choose not to pay for advertising on state media. THEY WILL PAY.

I can tell you one thing, they will face an even greater backlash,if they go back to sponsoring the Mussies.

Is TLC really going to air how Daddy reacts when his teenaged daughter gets a job, wears eyeliner and lipstick, and has an American boyfriend?

Will they show Daddy running back to the Middle East after restoring "honor" to his family?

.....I think not!

“Calling the Lowe’s decision “un-American” and “naked religious bigotry,” Sen. Ted Lieu, D-Torrance, told The Associated Press he would also consider legislative action if Lowe’s doesn’t apologize to Muslims and reinstate its ads.”

Well, Ted, I don’t know about you, but using the power of the state to threaten a private business and tell them how they have to spend their advertising budget seems pretty darn un-American in my book.

What “backlash”? Some CA state senator who’s part of a legislature that’s done such a bang up job moving the Golden State, not forward, but towards third world status?

Instead of going to Lowes once a day...gonna have to bump that up to twice a day. Maybe I’ll even start eating lunch at the hotdog stand they have in the parking lot.

I go there so much, my signature is inscribed in the little LED signing pad/card swip gizmo at the cash register.

Don’t think I’ve EVER seen a hijab in Lowes...

Lowe’s acted stupidly.

If they wanted to end their support for the show, they chould have just declined to renew any advertising, without any communication as to why. They brought this nonsense onto themselves.

Not that I think it will hurt them. But they were stupid to borrow trouble.

No offense to Muslims but they are not that consistent in the upkeep of their propeties. A home improvement store is wasting their advertising dollars on this show. It’s not personal, it’s just practical.

This is all well and good, but where is OUR boycott of the History Channel? Has anyone thought to contact History or Discovery to vent our disapproval of Muslim propaganda?

While pulling sponsorship is good news, I have to wonder who at Lowes' made the decision to go forward in the first place.
Anyone with half a brain can see this is nothing more than out and out propaganda.
And you don't even have to see the show to know that.

Lowe’s sales are seriously impacted:

Pipe, fertilizer, and machete sales are down 20%.

I’m pretty sure the show wouldn’t have done a profile on the Muslim man from Buffalo whose wife got an idea—why not do a TV network that would show positive views of Muslims? And they did—Bridges TV.

She cannot be reached for comment: Her husband beheaded her. (He’s now in jail.)
