Obama: 'It Doesn't Really Matter' Who GOP Nominates

“The core philosophy that they’re expressing is the same,” he told CBS's "60 Minutes."

Defiantly proclaiming “it doesn’t really matter” who the Republicans nominate against him, President Obama declared that he is ready to take on either Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney and ask voters to contrast his vision with that offered by the GOP nominee. In an at-times feisty interview with CBS’s “60 Minutes,” the president suggested there is little difference between the two front-runners for the nomination.

“The core philosophy that they’re expressing is the same,” he told Steve Kroft in an interview conducted in two parts last week and aired Sunday night. “And the contrast in visions between where I want to take the country and… where they say they want to take the country is going to be stark.” He predicted “a good debate” and a clear choice for the voters.

Pressed by Kroft to explain Gingrich’s recent surge in the polls, Obama attributed it to the former speaker’s longevity. “He's somebody who's been around a long time, and is good on TV, is good in debates.” Despite his repeated insistences that he is not closely following the debates, the president also made sure to cast Romney as a politician, a theme often heard by Romney’s Republican opponents. “Mitt Romney has shown himself to be somebody who's good at politics, as well. He's had a lot of practice at it,” he said, adding that he expects the GOP fight for the nomination to be protracted. “I think that they will be going at it for a while,” he said. “When the Republican Party has decided who its nominee is going to be, then we'll have plenty of time to worry about it.”

He boiled down the 2012 campaign to a single question to be answered

I see Obama’s “vision” as a destroyed America with him sitting in the UN running the world Government.

I believe the only way to stop it is to put him out of office, preferably in jail for murder for his part in the “Under the Radar” Fast& Furious killings.

He has already succeeded in giving most of the Middle East to the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Quaeda.

My question is why does the blue-lipped Kenyan get ten minutes of free prime-time campaign advertisement that a challenger would have to pay $40 million dollars for?

He characterized the Republican vision as more tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations and “gutting” regulations. “If the American people think that that's a recipe for success and… a majority are persuaded by that, then I'm going to lose.”

Oh no bammy, the American people think national socialism, 18% real unemployment, one in SIX on food stamps, first administration in HISTORY to fail in producing a budget in it's entire four-year term (yeah, that is my prediction for 2012), first administration in HISTORY to get our bond rating downgraded, wrecking the health-care industry of the ENTIRE nation, dragging the top job producing energy industry into the gutter, closing power plants as the national population is expanding, killing new jobs a quarter of a MILLION per decision, pizzing away a TRILLION dollars a pop with absolutely nothing to show for it, monetization of debt IN THE FACE of numerous historical examples of total disaster, oh yeah, right, sure thing little bammy, that's a recipe for success.

There is absolutely NO HOPE of any reasoning, appeasement, bartering, compromising, bipartisanship, anything with these parasites. In there view we, conservatives and Republicans, no matter what we do, promise, pay or say, will ALWAYS be wrong, evil, greedy, inhuman and stupid.

There is no use in any further attempts at such reasoning, compromising or appeasement. The approach of "taking the high-road" is absolutely useless with them. They simply think anyone that does that is stupid.

No use whatsoever to do anything except suppress them.

...his vision...

What vision? DumBO has not provided any vision of a future. He hopes that stealing other peoples money will buy him enough votes to win an election where state sponsored theft is the norm.

Notice he didn’t mention Rick Perry. The contrast between Perry and Obama would be stark. Obama and the Dems are really fearful that might happen.

Obama wants to play class warfare. That's it. If he can get the majority to hate the successful, then he will win.

They've been spewing class warfare propaganda in schools, the media and popular culture since the 1960s. I think they've decided the brainwashing has succeeded and they can fool enough of the young, gullible and stupid to win this election with the aid of George Soros's program of "democratic regime change" (read OWS and its backers).

Like a Civil War regiment coming out of the tree line and forming a line of battle out in the open exposing themselves to fire, so then Obama is throwing down the gauntlet and exposing himself to slings and arrows. I say I respect Obama for this and he should be commended. If he wants to make this election about socialism then so be it. No pettiness, no BS. Straight up. It is about time to have the final ideological war in this country and prevent a second real Civil War.

It doesn’t matter who we nominate?
They are essentially the same?

WE WISH!

I just gotta do it... Even 70 years of witnessing first hand man's inhumanity to man, he was still not prepared for what he walked in on in the men's bathroom during a break in the debate.

“President Obama declared that he is ready to take on either Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney and ask voters to contrast his vision with that offered by the GOP nominee.”

Obama’s vision is that if you are born poor but stay in school and work as hard as you can you too may one day be able to get into the middle class. Strive for Mediocrity. Yeh, thats what America is all about. Newt will take that vision and make doo doo out of it in about 3 seconds. I can’t wait to watch.

Voter fraud on a scale yet unseen will take place . Also , there may be a 3rd party run ( spoiler ) by someone that will benefit Obama . The script has been written I’m afraid . The Repubs are gonna commit hara kiri again in 2012 . If this happens we may not see another R president for a long , long time .

He boiled down the 2012 campaign to a single question to be answered by the voters: “Do they see a more compelling vision coming out from the other side?” He characterized the Republican vision as more tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations and “gutting” regulations.

That's right Obama. We want lower taxes, much less rules and regulations so small business can compete again. You got a problem with that? Do you even know what a small business is? Do you know who the job creators are? Have you ever studied anything except Marxism and Alinsky? The American people see through all of this and starting to 'get it.' We the People are Taxed enough Already and we are coming out in droves on November 6, 2012! Wait until you see the tsunami.

Truthfully, I fear we may lose to Obama.

He has the MSM on his side. He gets a pass on everything he says. Our people are hammered to the ground for any gaffe.

You’re right. Only a fool could think a GOP pres is in the bag for 2012.
In addition to having billions and the MSM in his back pocket, don’t forget all the voter fraud and illegal donations in 2008.
And these Lib sobs fight DIRTY.
