I have my DVD all fired up after the debate (and reading this thread) and am about to settle back and watch It's a Wonderful Life for the first time (but not the last) this Christmas season. As I look at the cast of characters, here's how I'd assign the current GOP candidates the roles in that classic film:

Michele Bachmann - Mary Hatch
Newt Gingrich - Peter Bailey
Ron Paul - Uncle Billy
Rick Perry - Harry Bailey
Myth Romney - Henry Potter
Rick Santorum - George Bailey

Deciding on a candidate is a serious business but I thought it wouldn't hurt to bring a little lighthearted fun to the thread. I'll check back after the movie finishes to see what other FReepers think, how badly I get flamed or if ozone is in my future! :-)
