I certainly make no claim to be a biblical scholar, but I have always thought that parable referred to salvation and not to the literal worker and wages.You are correct; but parables are chosen to illustrate a spiritual principle by using a familiar setting or occurance.
Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own?
