DES MOINES Presidential contender Rick Perry said there are eight Supreme Court justices, not nine, and flubbed Justice Sonia Sotomayors (SOHN-ya soh-toh-my-YOR) name in an editorial board meeting at The Des Moines Register.
Perry met with the board Friday. He struggled for six seconds to come up with Sotomayors name, then initially called the justice Montemayor. A member of the newspapers editorial board helped him out with the correct name.

Yet this is news to the AP?
Shouldn’t the AP be looking for Obama’s transcripts and LSAT scores? The integrity of his “election’ to the Illinois Senate?

You are asking way to much, fella. The Ass-ioted Press is not interested in 0-bama’s transcripts and LSAT scores

Odd Onion is a goofy source, but I see this is confirmed at other "normal" news websites.
At this point, after this many flubs, I wish Perry would drop out of the race, for the good of the GOP.
Perry = Painful.

No more verbal stumble-bums debating Zero. He's not the ideal candidate by a long shot, but Gingrich is the one ‘Pub in the race who can rip B. Hussein Soetero to shreds.

I’m not a Perry supporter, but we already have a supposed constitutional scholar in the White House and look how that’s working out.

Obama was a D student at Columbia and got a 120 on the LSAT. I defy anyone to prove otherwise.

The (self-proclaimed) constitutional scholar flubs things all the time and the press never reports it. Only by reading a transcript would you ever hear of it.

Actually there’s only 4 Supreme Court justices, and I can’t pronounce Sotomayors name the way the media says it’s to pronounced.
