You say “The Muslims are fascist”... This might be a little off topic (the topic being Newt Gringrich declaring the Palestinians an invention), but such things get my hackles up, possibly because I’m Italian and know Fascism.
Find me a Fascist suicide bomber who died shouting “Mussolini is the Greatest” and dreamed of heaven with 72 willing and ever-virgin Monica Belluccis! Under Fascism women danced and wore bathing suits. After Fascism was defeated it was vanquished except for a few marginal diehards. During Fascism wine was produced and drunk. During Fascism there were some scientific and technological achievements.
Islam predates Fascism by 1300 years (approx). Would you ever say Islamo-New-Dealism, or Islamo-Bonapartism? Just say Islam. By comparing the Islamics to the Fascists or Nazis, you give the false impression of soldiers, wars, tanks, and 15/20 year dictatorships and not something very very old and unfortunately much more complicated, deeper and with different timings and methods.
Fascism, like socialism is one of the great grandchildren of the French Revolution and the resultant deification of the State. It was evil - that hardly needs to be discussed, but thoroughly different in countless ways from Islamism.
Semantics is a reason why people don't understand that Hitler and Mussolini were socialists and their ideology were very similar. This fraudulent "Left-Right" cr*p just made people think that Stalin and Hitler and Mussolini were opposites when in fact they were extremely similar--and Marx was a socialist also. They were all fascists-- power hungry maniacs who wanted total control over the masses. Only degree of control differed and who they were allowed to worship--the State or Allah. .
Groveling over naming the fascism of all these men only accomplishes the inability to recognize "fascism" in all its forms---like in islam.
Fascism: 1. often capitalized : a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition
2. a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control
Muslims are certainly fascist--much more so, and evil, than Mussolini--I will give you that---in fact, Mussolini actually made the trains run on time.

All the movements: Communism, Marxism, Fascism, Socialism are leftist movements as are Democracies (which even Stalin admitted is the road to Communism). Democracies are leftist (mob rule) type of fascism over minorities and eventually lead to tyranny (fascism).
Alexis de Tocqueville wrote beautifully about "democracies".
