Also from the article:
In response to Paul's comments Thursday evening, former Bush administration spokesman Ari Fleisher Tweeted: "The man is nuts."

I'm almost finished with Rumsfeld's memoir, then I'll read Cheney's.
Rummy completely refutes Paul's charge.
There is no way in Hades that I'd trust the nuclear football to Ron Paul.

Ron Paul is an idiot-savant.
He understands the economy and the role of the Fed better than most on Capitol Hill.
Beyond that, the idiot part kicks in.

He is a nutbag and the bigger question is how far gone are the people electing the nutbag.

Many of his supporters think that President Bush had a hand in 9/11. Hard to believe there are any people here who support him, no matter what his views are on the Fed or limited government.

I was going to say something snarky, but Ari summed it up nicely. No further comment required.

Sounds more like he is “Nuckin’ Futz” to me! If he is going to take all these off the wall stances why doesn’t he change his affiliation from Republican to Plumb Loco?

It pisses me off that RoPaul is (currently) posing as a Republican.
HE IS A LIBERTARIAN, FGS.
And despite what he says; I don’t trust him to keep his promise not to go third party when he loses the GOP nominatiion.
(See tagline) I hate libertarians. And Ron Paul is the personification of libertarians.

Hey! Ron Paul! Yea, you. You are f'ing nuts!
To: Rummyfan
Why would that be? This nutburger spouted more offensive offal than this in the early 90s, yet he is still there. There are plenty of people who believe his crap.

Complete bunk.
Paul is either misquoted or nuts. Bush and his administration were not opportunists. In fact it was the out of power Rats who were enraged they were not in power to take advantage of the 9/11 crisis as a Rat agenda opportunity.

You couldn’t time this post better. Rush is now all over him.
His candidacy should be over after this but there are way too many cranks who agree with him.
