Newt Gingrich tells CNN's Wolf Blitzer he would consider Mitt Romney to be a potential running mate (VIDEO). The interview is very much in keeping with Gingrichs keep it classy campaign theme so far and he treaded lightly, sounding neither overly enthusiastic about a VP Romney nor overly displeased with the idea.
But why did he take the bait at all? He could just as easily have remained indifferent, have answered with a simple, Id have to give it thought. He wont win over Romney supporters and he significantly owes his own surge to the appetite for an anti-Romney. To praise Romney as competent and serious might be true as far as it goes but it also reminds voters that, in some ways, Romney and Gingrich are very much alike. Theyre both ambitious, intelligent and susceptible to switching positions.

Not that I don't get your point -- It's only that it represents "more of the same". Same old politics as usual. Same old double speak. Same old republicanism without conservatism. We're a bit tired of that. We want someone to stand up and talk straight for once. We want someone who'll stop the political double talk. We want someone with a righteous fire in his belly. Cain-like. Palin-like. Anything less is a waste of Tea Party time.

Fine...
Then you should recognize that the headline of Tina Korbe's post was facetious. She as much admitted so.
Perhaps you would address just one of the questions I asked in #52 above;
Do you accept the premise as well as the MSM narrative that, there are only two (2) GOP Presidential candidates ?
No votes have been cast and Super Tuesday is a long way off.
And before anyone asks, I am keeping my powder dry and I have not made a decision as of yet to support any of the candidates. The only conclusion I have drawn confirms what I have always known; The LEFT lies and continues to attempt to manipulate.

Any one who would consider having Romney for VP is a One World puppet also.
Newt is worse than McCain—esp. since he has that sick sister which means his childhood was probably crappy-—and he’s in thrall to the New Agers-—Tofflers. It really is sickening if you look how he voted....for the DOE, etc.—The most unconstitutional department which ruins and make slaves of future voters.
Very sinister-—Newt is too smart not to understand Hobbs and John Stuart Mill, therefore, he is sinister.
To: mylife
No kidding. Newt Gingrich = bad move.
There will be a lot of buyers remorse around here. Same with Romney. Double Trouble.

Dear Newt, I will not vote for any ticket with Romney on it. Period. Why would I agree to allow Romney to be heir apparent 4 years down the road or 8 years down the road.
Is rino socialism better then than now? Never.
I will NOT vote for Romney in any way, shape, or form.
Period. If necessary, I will vote Constitution Party.

C’mon who didn’t see this one coming? Been saying this for months. Perry/Cain had a chance if had they teamed up together. Newt wants to win and he won’t pick someone who will outshine him ala McCain and Mitt works perfectly for his plan and ego.
