None of those endorsements would matter.
The only endorsement that could possibly move the needle would be RUSH. He could probably coalesce all of the anti-romney, no paul vote.
But he ain’t gonna so hopefully the electorate is smart enough to pick a conservative on their own.
Endorsement from Terry Brandstad, governor of Iowa, is definitely important. He has a good network of republicans that really help the caucus meetings.
Rush and people like him can’t risk actually picking against any one candidate who can win. If they did, they would sound like hypocrites defending them against Obama for six months. Between the lines, he has made his distaste for Romney clear enough.
