Romney brings out big guns, shoots self in foot (Romney imploding)
Legal Insurrection ^ | 12/8/2011 | William Jacobson

Romney is losing it. His coordinated assault on Newt does not make the case for Romney.

And it’s embarrassing. Romney brought out former Congressman and former Senator Jim Talent to bash Newt’s leadership as Speaker. Talent forgets that the internet has a long memory, and that Talent supported Newt for Speaker of the House even after the issues Talent now complains about were raised:

Old Quote from Talent: Allegiance comes from Rep. Jim Talent, R-Mo., who says, “I intend to support the speaker”

As I mentioned last night, bringing John Sununu to the rescue just reminds us of the appointment of David Souter and the breaking of George H.W. Bush’s “no new taxes” pledge, in both of which Sununu played an instrumental role as Chief of Staff.

I’m leaning towards Perry. He’s a former USAF pilot,(other than RP, the only military vet running),a clean personal background (as far as I know) he’s a real conservative and has a fine record as Governor. What more could you want?

This is my logic, as well. Perry can hammer Obama on job creation.

I haven’t seen all the debates and forums but I understand Perry has had some pretty good performances recently. There is a lot more than being a good debater. Perry has the record of accomplishment we need.

“Romney MAY be done. However, Gingrich is just as bad.”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Nah, at worst Gingrich is a two sided coin, he may come up on tails but if we’re lucky he may come up heads. Romney is a coin with two tails, we can never win with him.

“Anyone get the feeling that this is all kabuki theater and that the fix is already in and the nominee all all but chosen?”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I do! Unlike you I think Romney is a one hundred percent guaranteed disaster while there is a glimmer of hope with Gingrich but I do get the feeling that we are ALL being manipulated by evil forces. I really believe that we have screwed up so badly for so many decades that there is very little that can be done regardless of who wins the white house this time.

Meh. Maybe. All I know is that Gingrich isn’t even close to Conservative and I’m voting Third if he is nominated. He is amoral, untrustworthy and a RINO through and through ... at best.

Then I hope he sends me a card. at least some of us won’t support RINOs and will do what we can to further Conservatism.

Its beginning to look a lot like Newt. He will make a fine president.

Yes, I think you are right, and how appropriate during the Christmas season as I begin singing that old familiar Christmas carol...

It's beginning to look a lot like Gingrich
Everywhere I go

Please, feel free to join in...

And you will further socialism in doing so. Obama will send you a card ... it will be ane emormous tax bill & list of acceptable thoughts. Enjoy taking aim at those RINOs.

Oh please. Stop listening to what the GOP elite want you to listen to. They’ve got you, and WAY too many, scared to keep you from being a Conservative. They scared you and gave us the big spending Bush. They scared you and you are going to get Romney or Newt and NOTHING will change. Bush gave us NOTHING.

But, hey, I’m old enough that I’ll be gone and in twenty years way too many of you will be still complaining about the direction of America and some “Socialist/Marxist/Fascist/Martian” in the White House and dutifully electing yet another RINO because you have been told to be scared.

Nothing is ever going to change until you do.

No more. No more vote for the lesser of two evils.

I know it’s way too late, but God I wish a Conservative would jump in.

Yup! I’m just an idiot who only listens to what the media elites tell me ****drool***** cause they love Newt Gingrich so much. Thank Goodness I’ve got Charles Krauthammer to scare me and tell me how to vote. Me just a dum dum with no brain of my own.
